Buttons & Bling at Incy Wincy

Good morning Monday again which means its time for a new challenge over at Incy Wincy where this week we want to see Buttons & Bling and our fantastic sponsor this week is  The Paper Shelter.
I have used this cute image from them called There's A Penguin In My Cocoa

I have used the pre coloured version of this image along with the background paper that comes with it so this was a nice quick card for me. All I did was mount the paper onto some pearlesant card and the image I printed twice and fussy cut it to give it a decoupaged look. I added some red gems to the Christmas tree for the bling part of the challenge and for the buttons part I added some tiny clear star buttons next to the computer generated sentiment. I added a close up photo so you could see the tiny stars are buttons.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
Card Mania - Buttons
CHNC Challenge - If you want to get ahead get a hat
Jingle Belles - Feature A Creature

Jingle Bells

Now don't drop down dead I'm back with another card and it's not even a Monday!! Sorry about the lack of posts at the moment I seem to have hit a pothole in the crafting/blogging road and am struggling to get out of it. Today's card is one I made a while ago for S J Crafts DT, but before the challenge was due to go live Sarah decided to close down the challenges and I never got round to blogging my card. Not my normal type of card at all but I quite like it and it was super quick to make. I cut a square of card and covered it diagonally with two different washi tapes. I wrapped some white satin ribbon around this square tied simply in a knot and attached some tiny silver jingle bells to it. I mounted this square onto a card blank using foam pads and doodled some faux stitching around it. Lastly I added a Craftwork cards sentiment with some stickles around the edge.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
Alphabet Challenge - Stitching
Crafting By Designs - Get Ready For Christmas
Allsorts Challenge - Christmas

Hopefully Mr Blogger will post this scheduled post on time this week as it's time for a new challenge at Incy Wincy this week we have a Tic Tac Toe board for you to work from and we are sponsored by Dr Digi.

I went with the first vertical row for my card Something funny, Burgundy, Use some metal. I have used Karaoke Santa from our sponsor, coloured him up with pro markers adding some fluffy stuff to the bottoms of his trouser. The strip of patterned paper is from Bo Bunny's Elf Magic pad. I added 3 metal brads down the right side and added a computer generated sentiment.

Colour challenge at Incy Wincy

Whoops have just realised that Mr Blogger didn't post this when I asked him to sorry for being late.
This weeks challenge at Incy Wincy is a colour one we have a fab picture for you to take your inspiration from

This week our sponsor is A Day For Daisies I was lucky enough to get to use this gorgeous image called Christmas Ribbons

I coloured the image with pro markers adding some gold stickles to the stars. I inked the edges of the image panel with antique linen distress ink.  My papers are some really old ones from Basic Grey Boxer collection. I used a marther stewert punch to cut the lattice out of co-ordinating paper and ran a piece of sparkly gold robbon along the top. These gold stars started out as blue pearly ones so to make them fit in with my card I heat embossed them with gold powder but decided they were not sparkly enough so I covered them in gold stickles.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Polkadoodles Challenge - Anything But Square
Alphabet Challenge - R is for Round or Rectangle
4 Crafty Chicks - Recipe 1 image, 2 Papers 3 Bling
