Purple turtle

Here's my very purple card for Stamping Dragon Designs this week. I am fast running out of cardstock and really need to get somemore so am having to use up some of the colours I don't really use hence my purple card.
The image is Tommy Tortoise by the fab Stamping Dragon Designs who I have coloured with my promarkers in lots of shades of purple. He is mounted on 2 squares of purple card and then onto some purple spotty paper which is from Papermania's back to basics pack. I have used my fiskers threading water punch to create a border. I have put a purple gem into each of the holes in this border. The back paper is from DCWV Teen stack.
Don't forget this fornight's challenge on Stampin with the Dragon is distressing you still have another week to enter and we are also holding a DT call check out all the details here which you have untill the 6th August to enter.

Tilda in Blue

Whilst blog hopping I saw the new challenge at Die Cut Dreams was to do a Tilda card in blue, now this is not a colour I would usually use on Tilda so I thought I would give it a go and tie it in with a few other challenges, vintage and paper piecing.

I have coloured Tilda with promarkers and then paper pieced her dress and shoes. I have added some picket fence distress stickles to her tiara.  She is mounted onto some grey bazill which has been cut with nesties, and then I have given the oval a lacy border by sticking some paper lace around the edge. I have used weathered wood distress ink on the edges of the lace.
The papers are all from MME Wild Asparagus pad, I have used sandpaper on all the edges to slightly distress them. I have used some blue organza ribbon from my stash and a silver flower charm which came from a stash swap. The ticket sentiment is a free one I downloaded from here and printed on cream card.

The flowers have been punched out of the same paper as her dress with a woodware punch I have then crumpled them and added a small pearl to the centre. I've added a cream pearl pin and sore silver swirly things to finish it off.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Lili of the valley challenge 58

Here's a quick card I made last night for a lady at work who is leaving. The image is Lili of the Valley and the paper is MME. The cardstock that has been embossed with divine swirls is actully grey even though it looks white in the photo. I have added some small pink gems to 2 of the corners. The flowers are from wild orchid crafts I have coloured the tips pink by gently touching the promarker pen to them, I've curled some silver wire to make the little swirly bits.

I have added 3 green dew drops to the top corner and a happy birthday stamp to the bottom.

Mermaid

I made this card using this stamp from Sweet Pea Stamps it was sent to me by Choccy I think and has been sat in my stamped image drawer as I was scared to colour it in. I finally got the courage to colour it in last night.

She is coloured in with promarkers and I have added some stickles to her tail. The spotty paper was sent to me in a stash swap I think its papermania, and the flowery paper is from MME. All the edges have been distressed with my scissors and then had stickles put on them. The paper lace down the sides of the image has been coloured with promarkers to match.

The flowers are Prima e-line ones that have been coloured with promarkers to match and I have put a button in the middle of each. I have added some faux stitching to each of the little strips that go under the flowers.

Tilda with vintage roses

I have followed the sketch at Just Magnolia for this card. The pink paper is from the MME pad that was free with a magazine this month and the blue is from DCWV spring stack. All the edges have been distressed and I have used Milled Lavender and Weathered Wood distress inks on the edges. I have used my woodware heart border punch for the blue cardstock and then sanded over it to show the white core on parts of it.

This Tilda is called Tilda with Vintage Roses and is one that I bought stamped off Ebay, She is from last years Christmas collection ut I think she works coloured in these colours as well. I have coloured her with promarkers and added a little sparkle with my sakura pen.

The flowers are white asters from Wild Orchid Crafts, I have r olled them on the Milled Lavender ink pad to add a touch of colour to them. The pearl spray is from my stash and the silver swirl is the wire cut from the end of the pearl spray I've then wound it round my embossing tool to make it into a spriral. The ribbons are from my local haberdashery and the top ones have been fed through a pearl ribbon buckle that I was sent in a stash swap. The ticket sentiment was a free download from this blog printed onto pale blue paper.

Seed Packets

A few weeks ago Rainmac and Rusty made some seed packet holders as teachers gift, I thought they were lovely so had a go at making some for Aimee's teachers.
I have used papers from MME Penny Lane and the image is a digi stamp, from the Digi Stamp Boutique called Fifi  and Flowers. I have coloured her with promarkers and added a touch of glitter with my sakura pen to the centre of the flowers.
The sentiment is printed on the computer as is the poem on the inside.

Teachers Gifts

I'm afraid this post is going to be a bit image heavy, as I had eight teachers to make gifts for. I have made each of them a memory wire bracelet in a mini pizza box. The beads are all from Jilly's Beads apart from one of the brown one which was from Ebay. The papers for the boxes and flowers are MME Penny Lane and the brads in the flowers are from Dovecraft.

Golden Wedding Anniversary Card

I was asked to make a special card for a golden wedding anniversary and this is what I have come up with. I have used lots of shimmery gold card and papermania papers in ivory for this easel card.

I have coloured this Magnolia wedding couple with promarkers, adding a touch of glitter to the roses with a sakura pen. They are mounted on to goldcard cut with my new nesties, i've embossed the edge of the label. The layer to the left of the picture has been embossed with my heart folder and then I have cut a border with my woodware heart border punch to run down it.

I have printed the sentiment on the computer and again used my new nesties to cut it out.
