With Love at Christmas

Good morning

Here I am again with my weekly inspiration from

This Christmas card is perfect for a couple, although I do have to say that this image has been discontinued, but may be located with one of the stockists still.

I used

Image and sentiment - Bluebell in Love

This is a 6" scallop card blank

The contrast on this one is gold. With some of my older papers really trying hard to use up items I have rather than buy new ones.  I added a border punched with my MS holly punch I wrapped red ribbon around this and then placed the image on top of this.  I added the bow, the flower, the rhinestone sparkler and a gold bell, before finishing off with red and gold tonic pearl drops.

The image is coloured in copics, with glitter for the fur and some Atyou glitter.

I thank everyone for all of their lovely comments and I will be back again soon and thank you for taking the time to view my blog, my items are now for sale on my etsy shop

Christmas Meeces

Good morning to you all

Wow is it blowy and wet outside.  A perfect day to clear the ironing, put up the new pelmet in the Nursery and then get into some crafting.  Here is a card that I made for my Etsy shop, using those cute House Mouses.

This is a 6" scalloped card blank

I started with the gold base and added some LOTV papers, before adding a circle layer and then the image which is printed from the House Mouse CD Rom.  I added a sentiment from Wild Rose Studio and finished off with the green triple double bow, a gold bell and a fancy button.  Those other touches the gold tonic pearl drops.

The image is so cute.

I have made the difficult decision at this time to leave the House Mouse Design Team, to spend more time with my new family member Joshua, I am going to enjoy my time with him.  So for this card I am going to join in with the team for their current challenge which is

HMFMC #252 Anything Goes OR Fall/Autumn Colors - I went with the anything goes option.

Do hop over and join in with your House Mouse Creations.

I thank everyone for all of their lovely comments and I will be back again soon and thank you for taking the time to view my blog, my items are now for sale on my etsy shop

Some Bunny Loves You

Good evening

I though I would just hop on a show you a card that I made for an order recently.  The brief was a Wedding Card with script as the person writes and bunnies.  So here is what I came up with.

So this is an 8" card, I made the blank myself

I went with some of those gorgeous papers from Wild Rose Studio and contrasted these with black card.  I added a row of lace along the bottom and a punched panel down the side.  The panel was wrapped in ribbon with pearl strings on the top.  I then embossed a small heart and layered this onto the larger heart to place on to the card.  I cut the little bunnies out from my silhouette on line store and flipping one to make the opposite side.  I added a little heart and two fluffy bunny tails.  I added a sentiment and then added pearl strings around the edge of the card and pearls everywhere, including a pearl heart.  I added a triple double bow, a fancy heart button and a little silver bell, before adding the flowers to complete the look.

I love how it turned out.

I would like to thank all of my lovely visitors for their recent comments and have today managed to find time to hop around and visit lots of old blog friends, hope to be doing this more soon.

Well off to do some more crafting lots of cards for Xmas to make

hugs to you all

From the Mice at Christmas

Good evening

I have been merrily working on Christmas cards over the last few weeks so I thought I would share one with you.  I decided for a change to use one of the images off my house mouse CD ROM.  I also used some of my Lily of the Valley designer papers.

This is a 6" scallop card blank

I have used gold mirror card for the layers and added a burgundy ribbon, along with a heart rhinestone sparkler, a gold bow and some florals.  You cannot have one of my cards without those key essentials.  I finished off with some copic coloured pearls to match the burgundy bow.

For a change I would like to enter the following challenges.
