Father's Day

Hi all

I am back today to remind you of the current

which is

Anything Masculine

and is hosted by little old me :)

So here is what I created but don't forget to hop on over and see what else those fabulous design team members and our guests have made to inspire you

I made a Father's Day Card
The base layer and contrast on this one is a dark chocolate brown and some lovely turquoise papers for the contrast.  I have used those lovely nesties to cut out the image and frame it, but did this at an angle to create the diamond shape.  I added those little corners for detail along with lots of those scrummy embellishments from the Hobby House.  (Link is in my sidebar)  The ribbon, the pearl medallion and the little and larger pearls on a scallop card blank from the shop too.

Now the image coloured as always in copics

As always I would like to thank all of my wonderful visitors and followers for their inspiring comments, which encourage me and allow me to hop over in return to see their gorgeous work and welcome my new followers.

Vintage Easter

Morning all

hope you have had a good week, and Happy Friday almost the weekend, which for some or us whose husbands go to fishing matches, means that tomorrow is my play day :) yipeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!

As I could not play last weekend I will be making the most of it this weekend.

Anyway enough of all that two weeks ago when he was fishing I decided that it was about time that I created my very first Silhouette Cameo own design SVG file.  I have since designing draft one which is this creation, made a few small adaptions (thank you Polly for your lovely eye and Steve for your ideas to improve, I adore truthful constructive feedback)  So here it is and would love to know what you all think.

The amendments have meant that the sides will be more rounded and the handle slightly thinner.

I have used some digital papers from FAR FAR HILL, now if you have not seen these gorgeous papers please do hop over, they are free for download and you just need to leave a comment and they are beautiful. I added some lace from Grimsby Crafts and then used my cameo and some online store files to make the flowers, I added a Hobby House rose to the centre of the large flower and some Hobby House ribbon around the top and bottom.

Now that I know how to create my own wow I cannot wait to create again, I have so many ideas :)

As always I would like to thank all of my wonderful visitors and followers for their inspiring comments, which encourage me and allow me to hop over in return to see their gorgeous work and welcome my new followers.

Good morning to you all

products.  I again have gone with some more of those fabulous new releases

but before I move on I would like to apologies for not hopping to see you since Thursday last week, our whole family have not been well, but we are now on the mend, so I thought I ought to get around to drawing my candy before I went to sleep again, so, what was it we were entering for? oh yes this!!!!!!
One of the new release dies of course from Wild Rose Studio, so with the help of Mr Random in his tux on this occasion and to the sound of a trumpet fanfare, here is the result
and that is
Congratulations, if you would like to e mail me your postal address, I will get this in the post to you at the weekend :) and thank you to everyone for entering and keep watching as I do have some more of those gorgeous Wild Rose Studio products to give away soon ;)

So back to my creation

Using
I made a birthday card

The base colour is a lavender card-stock and this is also the contrast.  I have used a pretty Marianne die to frame the panel, added those Hobby House little pearls all around it.  I then added that new die that I airbrushed and glittered up, and then as it looked so pretty did the same to the sentiment tag and the little butterfly................had a wonderful messy time.

Here is a close up of that lovely Panel
so cute - right?

Love in a Tree

Good morning to you all

Something a little different from me today to showcase another of those gorgeous products from

Now as you know I went and met Dulcie and Matt from Wild Rose Studio at the Birmingham Trade show recently.  I watched Dulcie cutting those new dies out and colouring them up.  I had seen Lols from the DT also colour up the dies.  So I came home and played and love how they look air brushed with my copics.

So here is a cased Wedding card from the wonderful Dulcie.

Using
Die - Love Bird Tree (New Release)
Sentiment - Wedding Circles

I used a lavender card stock base and layered up with white, before adding the sentiment and sticking on my airbrushed tree.  I added glitter to those little cut oust and then used pin-flair to give a little height when adding them to the tree.

Here is a close up of the die cut
