Washi Tape Gift Wrap Tutorial

Happy Friday!

As crafters, we may have a bunch of cards in our stash. But how often do we have gift wrap that fits the occasion, too? Today, I have just the solution you may need to quickly come up with gift wrap that meets your gift giving needs.

It’s best if you start off with a neutral gift box: kraft or white is best. For my project, I created my gift box using my Martha Stewart Score pal using the instructions provided with the scoring tool. My finished box is 4x4x2 which only required 2 sheets of 8x8 cardstock.

DeNami Design Supplies
Ruby Red Boutique Buttons

Other Supplies
gift box
old book pring
twine
scissors
2" scallop circle punch
needle

You can also embellish your gift wrap washi box using stamps. DeNami carries a bunch of coordinating washi and stamps like Camera and Film Strip washi.

The possibilities are endless! Have fun creating!

Ice Cream Social Tutorial

Hello, Lisa P here! Today I'm sharing a fun photo tutorial for creating stamped wooden spoons, sundae toppings boxes and invitations for a sweet ice cream social!

Let's get to it!

Stamped Wooden Spoons:
Step 1: Set a wooden spoon on the edge of a notepad so that the handle lays flat. Dip a sponge into acrylic paint and then apply the paint to the stamp using a dabbing motion. Press the stamp down onto the handle of the wooden spoon. Allow time to dry.

Sundae Toppings Box:

Magnetic Bookmark Tutorial

Hello friends!

Today I have a tutorial to share with you that will help you to use your scraps. If you are anything like me, you are bound to have scraps of cardstock or patterned paper begging to be used. I have created some pagemarks/bookmarks.  In my tutorial I will show you how to make these using stamps and washi tape. I also use a die, but you can change out the topper using a square, circle or scallop  punch. DeNami carries  many stamps that coordinate with these tools.

Other supplies
various color cardstock
 magnetic strip
die cut or punch tool
various ink colors
scissors
stylus or scoring tool

TIP: You can also use patterned paper in place of washi tape or background stamps.

These little pagemarks/bookmarks make the perfect little gift for any avid reader. You can also create these to hold your place in your daily planner if you still carry a paper planner.

Have fun creating!
