Elegant You're the Best

Hi there!

I hope that you were inspired by the Product Spotlight post yesterday. Isn't it fun to see several different ideas using the same image? There are some who will see a stamp and know right away they NEED it, then there are others that will get inspired with an image after seeing it several times. Whatever category you "fall" into, we hope that you'll continue to make the DeNami blog a place you visit often.

The card I'm showcasing today was one that I created back in January, but hadn't posted here on the blog yet. If you are a fan of the rich, elegant colors, this one is for you. I can see this being used as a wedding card (you can change the sentiment), anniversary card, promotion card....

Tip: If you changed out the colors and take away the rhinestones, you could use it for a masculine card!

If you have been in need of a larger frame, or have been eying this stamp, be sure to take advantage of the 10% savings THIS WEEK ONLY!

I hope that you'll join us tomorrow for a brand new Photo Tutorial by Wendy showcasing the super popular Crystal Lacquer Pearl Pens! Thanks for stopping by the DeNami blog!

Autumn Birthday

Hi there!

As I type this, it's cold, gloomy and wet here in Washington. There are leaves scattered all about and all I can think about is a getting a hot drink in hand. Stat. It's days like these where warm, rich colors come to mind. Thankfully, I have a card that fits this description perfectly!

Now some of you may recognize this card, it was featured in our show booth a few years back. These colors not only are perfect for this time of year, they also are GREAT when you need to create cards for the guys in your life.

Tip: decorative shapes are a great way to add a sentiment to your cards. Whether it be from die cuts, a machine, or cutting own shapes, they are visually appealing and add interest to your cards.

I hope that you plan on joining me tomorrow here on the blog. A few of the DT gals and I are participating in a challenge that DeNami is sponsoring and I can't wait to introduce it to you!

Have a great rest of your day!

Glittery Centerpieces

Hello!

Before I start this blog post, I would like to say a great big thank you to all who have placed orders for the new release already. While it's still too early to say what the top pick is, I will say that there is a wide range of stamps being ordered. It makes me so happy to see that we can bring a variety of styles/ themes and you all are receptive to them. Thank you from the very bottom of our hearts.

Today's card is one that I featured in Elegant Sneak Peek video. In true DeNami fashion, I used a variety of finishing touches to complete this card. Twine, rhinestones, glitter- you just can't go wrong with all of these different elements!

In the slight chance that you missed the Elegant Sneak Peek, I want encourage you to visit that blog post. The girls that showcased cards that day did a fabulous job and I know you will be inspired by their creations.

I hope you have a great rest of your day. I will be back tomorrow with a fun patriotic card. See you then!

Leafy Best Wishes

Good morning!

Oh boy, is anybody else feeling the "letdown" after all the exciting sneak peek posts and giveaways? I feel like we had a week packed full of fun things- this post almost seems mundane. Hopefully you were able to get so much inspiration during last week that going back to a single card is a welcome break. Sometimes too much eye candy can be overwhelming. :)

Today I have a card that is "classic" DeNami style. While I thoroughly enjoy creating with our cutesy and whimsical images, it's always fun to go back to what first made us known- elegant and classy.

If you are new to our circle stamps, we have a handy dandy guide that shows which stamps coordinate with which paper punches. We did our very best to make it user friendly- hopefully it helps you out.

Thanks for stopping by the DeNami blog- I'll see you tomorrow!

Sneak Peek Day #2

Hello there!

Did you enjoy Sneak Peek Day #1 yesterday? I read some of the comments and it looks like we have some DeNami chickaholics reading, which is what we like to see!

We are going to swing to the opposite end of the spectrum today and show you our new elegant stamps. We get some requests to bring in new, classic images, so we tried our very best to do that in this release. We have some stunning designs that I think you will really enjoy.

Today I have three gals bringing you their stunning creations: Deanna Dean, Deb Wabbe and Wendy Elliot. They all created such unique cards, which shows the versatility of these new stamps and also the wide range of styles we have on the DT.  We have a lot to cover, so let's get to it!

Deanna Dean
Deanna has blown me away with her first batch of DT cards. I am simply in awe of how just two stamps can look so incredibly stunning! I love the look of these stamps on our kraft cardstock and then colored in- it's simply perfect!

Stamps used: Ornamental Centerpieces set, Christmas Wishes

Deanna Dean
Deanna's second card brings to mind the word "wow". I would have never thought to put these colors together, but they work SO well. This would be the perfect birthday card to have in your card file!

Stamps used: Ornamental Centerpieces set, Happy Birthday Script

Deanna Dean
Deanna's style is epitomized in this card- clean and elegant, with pops of colors mixed in. I just love this layout, the stamp choices and the addition of twine on this card. Utter perfection on a card right here!

Stamps used: Holly Berry Sprig, Christmas Wishes

Wendy Elliot
Wendy created a beautiful stamped background for this card. I am loving the muted colors with those pops of red! Since this card doesn't have a sentiment on the front, you can easily stamp one on the inside to fit the occasion.

Stamps used: Poinsettia Vines set

Wendy Elliot
Wendy shows us how easy it is to mix in the new designs with some older ones. How great is that background? I love these pretty pastel colors with the Leafy Squares- just goes to show you that they can definitely be used all year round!

Wendy Elliot
Wendy's last card brings back memories of one of our older collections. The stunning gold glitter, the beautiful ribbon arrangement and the stamp choices are all so elegant!

Stamps used: Leafy Squares set, Christmas Candles set

Deb Wabbe
Deb created such a perfect holiday card here. I love how she went with classic Christmas colors for this beauty. Two stamps, two cardstock pieces, markers and ribbon= a quick and easy card!

Stamps used: Holly Lantern, Classic Seasons Greetings

Deb Wabbe
Deb has created such a striking card here. She pulled out one of the Ornamental Centerpieces and stamped it in a colored, which bring a bit of "fun" to this card. Add in a sentiment (which you can easily replace with your favorite) and you have a great go-to card for the holiday season!

Stamps used: Holly Lantern, Classic Seasons Greetings

Deb Wabbe
Deb's last card is just oodles of happiness. The bright colors, the new and old DeNami together, along with the rows of twine are so fabulous! This is one again proof that these stamps can be used for all seasons!

Stamps used: Ornamental Centerpieces set, Thinking of You
Don't leave yet....there is more to see! Deanna, Deb and Wendy have even more cards on their blog! Be sure to head over to THEIR blogs for the details of these cards and more!

Ink Distressing

Hello there,

Today's card is a little treasure I found while going through one of the bags Nami brought back from a show. Just in case you are wondering what this means exactly----Nami and Gary (the owners) travel to various shows across the country during the year. During their shows, Nami demonstrates various techniques and products, which leads to lots of stunning cards and projects. Some of our readers aren't able to attend these shows, or forgot to bring a camera, so we do our best to post the most popular ones to our blog/ website.

Okay, now getting back to the card.... I am loving the purple ink distressing Nami did on the focal point. It is subtle, yet really warms up the card. She used the Spring Pansy Versamagic, which we just started carrying on our website. It's a pretty shade of purple, and also happens to work perfectly with our Lavender cardstock.

If you haven't ink distressed before, it's really quite easy. You can use sponges or brushes on your ink pads, and then apply them to your desired papers. However, on a light color like this, you can actually use your ink pad and put it directly on your paper without any tools needed!

I hope you'll give this ink distressing look a try with your DeNami stamps! If you do, I'd love for you to post your card to the DeNami Facebook page, or leave us a comment with your blog link.I'm always excited to see your new DeNami creations!

I'll see you all tomorrow!

You're Special

Good morning!

Oh, I just love seeing so many new faces here on the blog, and on the DeNami Design Facebook page. If you're new to our company, a BIG welcome to you!  We're so glad that you found us!  If you have been a DeNami fan for a while, we are thrilled that you continue to follow us here on the blog. Seeing familiar faces is always such a joy!

Today I have a super sweet (and simple) card that's great for just about any occasion. This card is one that I saw at the CHA SuperShow that I had to bring back and share with you all. :)  I love the simplicity of this card, and how easily you can switch out the colors and sentiment!

That's all for today, dear friends. I will see you back here tomorrow with a new card and a video!

Have a great rest of your Monday!

Elegant Congrats + VIDEO

Good mornin', DeNami blog readers!

Today I have a card and video to share with you all. However, before we start on them, I wanted to take a little time to say thank you to each of you who take the time to leave blog comments, Facebook comments/ posts, follow our blog, etc.... Honestly, connecting and getting to know you all is my FAVORITE part of my job. Reading your excitement about new releases or how we inspire your creativity brightens my day. I hope we can continue to do this for many, many more years. :)

Okay, now back to the regularly scheduled program.....

After hearing how many of you enjoy our card and tutorial videos, I thought I'd start filming some more. In the one I have for you today, we'll be creating the card below (in less than 10 minutes!).

And now, here's the video showcasing how to create this card from start-to-finish!

I hope that the video and card today inspired you. I've already created three of these cards- one of an engagement (congrats to our DT member, Amber!), one for a wedding, and then I also have one on hand just in case. You can never have enough "congrats" cards!

Have a fabulous rest of your day. I will see you tomorrow for the special announcement of our August Guest Designer!
