Katzelkraft - An Eggs-tra special Easter

Hello everyone!

It's half time at the Dream Factory, and I want to remind you of our current challenge "Zoomania"

The keywords are: Easter and/or animals

Tuesday is also my Katzelkraft day, so I'm combining both into one post.

For my card I was inspired by Bellwether, the sheep that wears glasses.

The one from the Katzelkraft stamp set "Les Sgargots" was perfect for this!!! 

The background I made again with Distress Oxide inks. I stenciled the rising sun and then stamped two trees to add depth to the scene. The sheep I stamped with Versamark on white cardstock, embossed with white embossing powder, colored with alcohol markers, cut out and then fitted with glasses.

I stamped the other animals as usual, colored them with alcohol markers, cut them out and then adhered them to the already finished background. The quirky bunny is from the Katzelkraft stamp set "La Ferme Des Animaux". The chicks are from Stamin'Up. The sentiment is from Cardz TV Stamps.

New Saturday and new challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown. This week we are playing with

Wood Backgrounds

I stamped the wreath with different leaf and berry stamps, 

punched it out and backed it with copper glitter cardstock. 

For the background of my card I used design paper with wood patterns. I stamped the sentiment, adhered the wreath and then glued the panel to the blank card. 

The sentiment says: A Merry Christmas full of joy and thoughtfulness.

Hello everyone!

As the lucky winner of a guest designer spot on Christmas Craft Creations - (with this card), I have the honor to support the CCC-team twice this month. The theme is Christmas Flowers, and this is my second inspiration for it. Maybe you want to see the first one too.

To create the wreath, I just stamped the images on the panel without masking. I colored the berries and star anise with alcohol markers. Stamped the Christmas flowers and the holly branch on cardstock and colored them with alcohol markers too. I cut them out and glued them to the wreath.

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment and added Wink of Stella to the berries and Christmas flowers. The panel was backed with black glitter foil and adhered to the card.

Katzelkraft - Did someone say....

Hello everyone!

It's Tuesday and I'm back with a new Katzelkraft creation, and Easter card.... 

The big-eyed thing from the "Les Scargots" set has grown big ears and now thinks he's an Easter bunny. 😂 

I sponged the background with Distress Oxide and then added patterns with two stencils, and I am rather satisfied with the result.

The "Easter Bunny" is made from two different stamps - the big eyed creature and the bunny (see originals below).

I enjoy combining stamps to create new creatures and I think the big ears suit him quite well!

Today is 52 Christmas Card Throwdown day on my blog. This week's challenge is

Slimline Cards 

I sponged the background with Bermuda Bay and then spritzed it with water. After the panel was dry, I stamped the large snowflake along the edges with Tranquil Tide. I stamped the sentiment with Versamark and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.

I splattered the entire panel with white ink and added the sequins and copper liquid pearl dots when dry. The panel is backed with copper foil that I had previously embossed.

Katzelkraft - Hand Over the Eggs...

Hello everyone!

It's Tuesday and I'm back with a new Katzelkraft creation, and Easter card.... 

Mr. Bunny looks a bit threatening, and we don't want to take a risk because of a few eggs! ...do we? Haha 

There was still some Distress Oxide ink on the stencil from the last time I used it - I thought that would make a good background....   Just sprayed some water on it and then pressed the stencil onto the card - I like it!

The bunny I stamped, colored and cut out. The saying is stamped on small label and cut to size. - I just had to glue the pieces on. Lastly, I stamped three Easter eggs next to the bunny and put shadows under the scene to create ground.
