Creepy or Cool?

MyOnLineShop was kind enough to send MJ II and MJ III plates recently...and while there were so many cool images that I couldn't wait to use, I decided to do a mani more on the creepy side....well, creepy if bugs freak you out, that is! When I seen the random ants, I immediately in my mind had a scene with ants at a picnic....this is what I came up with.

Started with a base of two coats of OPI Bride's Bouquet.

Stamped using CH3 with Konad red special polish.

Stamped tips using CH22.

Then stamped using black Konad special polish using MJ III. I thought my nails were cool, not creepy...but my friend, she wasn't a fan of these all...too many bugs for her liking! This mani freaked her out!

A pix in the sun....oh my!  My cuticles look so rough in these sun shots...that's why mainly there's shade ones in this post.

I randomly stamped a few of the images on MJ II and MJ III.....any I tried stamped well.

So, do you think this mani is creepy or cool?  I know one thing for sure....it's not your typical mani!

Betty Boop is Hot Hot Hot!

This weeks challenge over at AiS was Hot! Hot! Hot!  When I was coming up with a mani and looking through my plates, I got to thinking that some of these Betty Boob images looked pretty hot!  This is what I came up with.

Started with a base of Essence Modern Romance as neutral to cover VNL because I knew Revlon Sheer Blossom was going to very sheer...and did two coats over Modern Romance.

Stamped using black Konad special polish using the following plates:  SdP 18 (thumb), W206 (ring), SdP 1 (middle), SdP C13 (index) and W207 (pinky).

Added some funky french tips using CH22; the heart tip on thumb and dots on the rest.

Added a few accents using red Konad special polish.  Stars are W203, hearts are fauxnad K06, sexy is SdP D02, and kiss is OB28.  You can see I misstamped sexy and it pretty much only reads sex...this was my second attempt and I thought if I couldn't do it the after the first two attempts, I probably wouldn't get it right on the third......so just lived with it!

Disney Easter Nails

  

I try to come up some not very typical mani's for themes and holidays....and I don't think this is a *typical* Easter mani! lol!  This is what I came up with last night.

Started with a base of OPI Hopelessly in Love as underwears along with four coats of China Glaze Innocence. Five coats of polish and you can still see VNL! Urghhhh!

Stamped some dotted french tips using CH22 with Konad black special polish. Didn't do too bad of a job lining up the french tips!  They are my nemesis...middle finger wasn't the greatest but not bad all in all!

Added Mickey and Minnie using SdP 40 for Mickey and SdP 16 for Minnie.

Then stamped in the super adorable Mickey and Minnie Easter Egg using W211, which was the one plate I wanted to use for this mani.   I went through my plate stash looking for other images to go along with this one image alone to come up with a Disney Easter theme.  Kinda, anyway....the bunny, while cute, isn't Disney but he screams Easter....I am going to try to fit him in another mani before Sunday as I think he is cute beyond belief!  The bunny is from XXL Big SdP-01 and the egg on pinky is W211.

Topped with SV and done!

 I'm probably wayyyy too old to be wearing these Disney Easter nails but I adore them...they are an 11 out of 10 on the cuteness scale! Good thing age is just a number, right? lol!
