For convenient meal prep, I like to quadruple the recipe. What you don’t need now may be frozen for future enjoyment. Simply thaw in the refrigerator before baking. <br<Precooking the sausage makes for extra speedy prep. The Sourdough Baker on Instagram: "Ham and Swiss Stromboli  Honestly, just an upgraded version of a ham and cheese sandwich!   Some things that could improve this even more: add bacon, onions, and/or your favorite sauce to the inside!   But, this was absolutely divine with just the ham and Swiss cheese.  To make: -Spread out one recipe pizza dough on a 9X13 baking sheet -Add your fillings -Roll it up -Brush with egg wash (one whole egg) -Optionally, top with herbs (I used Italian herbs here), poppy seeds, or sesame seeds -Make several slits in the top -Bake at 400 F for 25-30 minutes, or until brown and cooked through -Let it cool at least 5 minutes before slicing   When I think of pizza dough, I think of three things: 1) Pizza (of course) 2) Stromboli (obviously)  3) And, Calzones!
