This weeks challenge at Susana's Store blog is to prepare a gift set. I decided to prepare an Easter gift-set -since the holiday is almost around the corner.
For my card I decided to colour the Buttermilk Hen with my copics and then create a card 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" with my soft blue cardstock and the DPs from Laura Ashley.
I used my sandblock on the DP edges.
I then found an old mini-basket to put my gift in - being eggs and hens for decoration of a sprig of (birch) twigs. I added some matching ribbon from SU. After that I altered a match box with the same set of DPs and then used my SU punches to cut out the image - Violet Cupcake with. The image is also coloured in matching colours with the DP with my copics. Added a Bella Bauble to the center of the DP flower.Flowers is always a must when it's time for gifts - so I decided to use this tall vase that is perfect for one single flower. (It's sooo tall - and that's why the first picture in this post is a little bit blurry - sorry for that)
I added a "tag" on the vase/flower. This "tag" can also hold some small items - like a piece of chocolate. However - I needed something to go with the matches and then the incense (that my sister-in-law purchased in India) was just perfect. I picked the one's that had the matching colours - of course ;-))
Julia with flowers had to be on this tag with the matching DPs. I wanted to colour her with a more "Laura Ingalls"-style - if you know what I mean. The different warm greys does not really show here, but.....
Well - now it's your time to be creative - so please share your gift-set ideas with us and upload them on SCS or PCP with the keyword "TIOT12".

Happy Easter
Can you believe it - it's almost Easter!!
Wow - time flies. I guess I better start on some Easter cards now...hihi...... Well - I normally do not send as many Easter cards as I tend to do for Christmas - but it's always fun to bring something when we celebrate Easter together with family and friends.
So I hope this candle will go perfect together with another Easter gift and candy (of course:-) This is my first candle ever.... Well - I wanted to try for sooo long, but thank's to Iris: no more excuses - I had to make one. She is hosting this weeks challenge at RoP.
I wanted to make this short, but rather "chubby" candle...hihi..... So I decided to cut of Tilda with bunny from the Magnolia Easter collection. Coloured them on white tissue with my SU markers and then transferred the image to the candle. Ribbon from SU, Prima flowers and brads from RoP. I wanted them in the bottom - so that they did not have to be taken off from the start. Added some stickles too on the image (after it was transferred) - not sure though on how stickles burn, but you always have to have some excitment don't you ;-))
Hope you want to play along and show us your candles. Also - make sure that you do not miss the next Magnolia - "Chasing butterflies" collection that's on their way. Summer has them up for pre-order - so pop over and make sure that you get some.

Spring is here
or at least it was here this weekend. It's so funny every year - as soon as the sun pops up - well then you suddenly see your neighbours again ;-)) Out in the garden, burning leaves, planting seeds etc...hihi....... I guess it's the same everywhere and not only in Sweden.
Well - the Spring feelings this weekend gave me the inspiration to use Cathrine with butterfly for this weeks Try it Out Tuesday. Our project/card should only be made with 2 layers and 2 embellies. That's a very hard challenge for someone like me - that has gone from - only a very limeted numbers of layers and embellies to - well a lot just in 1.5 year ;-))
I was so pleased that I had the lovely DP from the Dovecraft Fantasy pack to create the scene with. They are perfect for projects like this. For the second layer (behind Cathrine) - there I used one of the papers from my "left-over-collection"...hihi.....
I coloured Cathrine with my copics (please don't forget to check out the copic bundles that are available at Susana's). I added some stickles to the flowers on her dress, on her shoes and for the ribbon. I then added vanilla ribbon (from SU) and one single flower from my stash.
There you have it - my 2 embellies :-))
Looking fwd to read your comments and see what you will come up with. Please remember to use the keyword "TIOT11" when you upload your cards on PCP or SCS.
Also - don't forget to check out the cards made by my dear DT friends.

Another award and Svensk Scrapbooking
First of all - I do hope that you all had a wonderful weekend. We just had so much fun and even had lunch outdoors on Saturday. Isac did not want to go inside at all. They are saying that there will be snow coming again - but I try to stay positive ;-)
Also - I will not be able to check in on you as much as I want to this week. The reason is that I am working on the finalized sketches for the next set of Anki's Sweethearts. So just some short updates from me:
We have a contest on the Swedish Scrapbooking site - for a chance to win some Ank's Sweethearts stamps. It's going to be fun to hear how many participants we managed to get and also if they had the correct answers - hope so.
Then I received this lovely award from Lynda! Lynda - you are sooo sweet and your Swedish is improving every day...hihi...... I will keep on sending you secret comments to translate ;-)
I am so happy that I got this award and I am passing it on to each and everyone of you that always leave such wonderful, supporting, fun and sweet comments. It's always so nice to hear from each and one of you and one day - I hope we all could meet at a World Convention Scrapping Event - wouldn't that be fun?? ;-)) So grab this award and pass it on to your readers.
I will be back tomorrow with a new Try it out Tuesday challenge (need to finalize the pics now).

Moving again?
God Morgon! (That's your first Swedish lesson for today ;-)
I am home with Isac today - he is feeling much better, but we will stay indoors and play - so therefore I will keep this post very short.
Just wanted to share this little card that I made for one of my friends - that are moving again.
The image is one that I received from my dear friend Renate. It was so fun to colour with my copics and yes - I do need more colours. Have you seen the copic bundles that Susana has in her store? They are great!
Also used the DP from Laura Ashley and added - very unlike me - purple flowers and a purple ribbon (from SU). But I actually like it - hope you do to. Of course I needed to use my new nesties - still asking myself how I ever could live without them before...hihi....
Don't miss my DT friend Christine's tutorial on Susana's store blog. She creates the most wonderful scenes - and she shows you how to do it - a lot of work - but the result is wonderful.

Awards from the Sweet Jane
Coming home from a very long day at work - having something to eat and then just quickly check my emails -and yes - there was the comment from Jane - she is such a sweet person and I do hope you pop over to her blog and send her some love ;-)
She has sent me these 2 lovely awards - THANK YOU JANE - you made my day!
Well - there will not be any cards posted today, since I came home from work so late. I do hope that I will be able to create some tomorrow - hopefully together with Isac. He is still not feeling weel - the poor thing. The fever is gone, but he has a terrible cough. I feel not 100% either - but I am still standing - so far ;-)
Wish you all a very lovely evening and I will check in on you tomorrow + pass on the award above.

Happy
I decided to go for vanilla as my neutral - for the ribbon (from SU), text (used my Eliza) and for the lilacs in the vase. Added some shimmerz - on the text and the flowers. Stickles on the vase and the leaves. Then I had to have some Bella Baubles as well - a girl can never add to many blings on her project...hihi.....Flowers and DPs from stash + the DP with the fairy on is from the Dovecraft Fantasy pack.
Hope you would like to play along and upload your project on SCS or PCP with the keyword
TIOT10. Also don't forget to check out the other DT ladies wonderful projects.

PS. Sorry - but the flash reacted against the shimmerz - therefore the card is a little bit too bright.

Glad Påsk = Happy Easter
This weeks challenge over at RoP is set by our sweet Jodi.
Must admit - this was a perfect way to actually use all my "left-overs". I guess many of you do the same - save the last piece of the paper - thinking - I will use it later ;-)
Well - now here's your chance. The patchwork was so fun to do - and I hope you also will like it.
Not sure if you can tell - but I added some scrappers floss in between + miniglass pearls. The card is now very heavy...hihi....
Coloured Tilda (from the Easter collection) with my distress inks - yes - I caved .... now I am not only the owner of SU markers, Copics, aquarelle colours - but also distress inks (I use the re-inker bottles). It was fun of course - but I need more practise though.
Added flowers and ribbon (from SU) - to make it look like Tilda is sitting in a bouquet ;-)
Hope you'll like it.

Wishing you love
Another quick post for you today - since I really need to finalize some colouring tonight.
We will be attending a party tomorrow for my very good friend Lena - who turned 40 this week + going to visit some friends of ours Sat/Sun - so not much time left for colouring ;-)
This time I actually decided to go for blue - not the colour that I normally use. Those of you who knows me know that I like strong and warm colours - but I needed to challenge myself for once ;-)
Coloured Cathrine with butterfly with my SU markers, used my heart punch from SU (can you tell that I really like it ;-) and ribbon from SU. Basic Grey Paperpads for DP.
Decided to also make a hatpin to go with the sentiment from SU.
Please make sure that you pop over to Susana's store site. She has some new goodies like flower soft, smooch and also check the lovely copic sets that she has put together with Suzanne.
Aud has also a new card to show off on the store site + there will be a new tutorial up tomorrow - so make sure you stop by.
Looking fwd to hear your comments and also - I will check your blogs on Sunday evening - since we will be away partying tomorrow and on Saturday ;-)
Have fun and warm greetings from a snowy Sweden (yes - I thought Spring was on it's way the other day. Why do you always forget how it is - when the flowers think it's Springtime - you tend to believe it - but then Father Frost comes back saying: Haha......just kidding - I am not done here yet ;-)

Have fun...
This is exactly what I had with the sketch made by our lovely Suzanne.
It was really a lot of fun to work out the different shapes and make them fit together. Thank you Suzanne for making us think outside of the box.
I decided for once to make another size for my card. I used DPs that were from my stash - (some from SU and some from our local shop Pysselakuten). One of the DPs had the perfect text for this one: "Have fun, find your passion and dream big".
The reason why I think it's perfect is because my son Isac really live by those words. He was my inspiration when I illustrated this image. He told me once that he had been to UK without us (he is only 2.5) and when I asked him what he was doing there - he said - skateboarding ;-)
It's also so nice to see that he really thinks that he can do anything. Nothing is impossible. When do we stop believing that? Well - I know for sure - I will support Isac in whatever his dreams will be - and hopefully he will continue to dream big!
Back to the card: I covered the "dream" with a ticket stating the same word instead. I cut out my shapes with my wonderful nesties of course. Added some dew drops on the top, rub-ons - next to Isac from SU. I coloured Isac with skateboard with my copics. I really wanted this card to be more Spring or Summer like - that's why I went for these colours.
Also - please welcome Aud Nordheim as a permanent member of Susana's DT! She makes the most wonderful cards and I am extra pleased to have a "neighbour" (Aud lives in Norway) in the team as well ;-)
Remember that you it's time to enter for the chance to become a Guest Designer for Susana's Custom Art & Card Design. You have until March 12th to do so!! You can see all the details HERE.
Hope you will play with us and if so - upload your card/project following Suzanne's sketch on SCS or PCP. Tag it with the keyword "TIOT9".
Kram and remember - DREAM BIG!

Another card for Julia
Today it really felt like Spring! Isac and I stayed outside in the garden until very late. He wanted to ride his bike (not the tricycle - but the "real" one), he used his saw and hammer...When I asked him if we should go inside to prepare dinner - the answer was "Not yet Mom" ;-) This is why I do love this season - you start to smell the Spring in the air and it's finally not dark at 14.00.
The only time it's dark - it's always when I get around to take pics of my cars...hihi.....
Anyway - as I promised yesterday - here's another card that I made for little Julia.
I needed to use more of that lovely Basic Grey Paper Pads from RoP and then I coloured little Julia with purse - from Anki's Sweethearts collection - and yes - she's really one of my sweethearts of course.
Well - need to fix some housework - couldn't anyone invent something to make that disappear while you are creating cards??? ;-)
Warm hugs to you and I do hope that Spring is coming your way too!

Sweet little Julia
Hej!
Another quick post from me - seems to be that way these days. Hope you've had a wonderful weekend. Ours went by too fast as always. Yesterday we had the Christening for my cute little niece Julia. Everything went well and she made sure that we heard her in the church :-))
Of course I had to make some cards for her - so here is one of them. I will post the other one tomorrow afternoon.I received the new Basic Grey Paper pad "Porcelain" from RoP (thank you Summer - it's gorgeous) and needed to use it right away. The colours were so sweet and were perfect for a Spring or a girly card. Coloured up Tilda and cake with my copics. Added shimmerz to the cake (not sure if you can see it, but...). Some stickles on her socks and dress. Flowers from stash as well as the cross. Ribbon from SU.
I also want to tell you that we now have a Project and Tutorial blog from the DT team at RoP.
This first tutorial for you is from Iris - showing how to make a wonderful candle. Please check in and let us also know what projects/tutorials you would like to see next.

Happy Saturday - and I am "published":-)
Hej!
Another quick post tonight before we watch another round of Melodifestivalen (the Swedish song contest - who to participate from Sweden in the European one (by the way - a very talented girl from my home town Vänersborg is already in the Swedish Finale - her name is Agnes).
The Christening for Julia went well and then we relaxed during the afternoon. I just checked my emails and I got this wonderful news - that the card that Susana asked me to create for a promo at Stamp New England is up - you can read about it here.
I decided to make a card with Felicia and Crabby.
I coloured Felicia and Crabby with my SU markers - stamped on aquarelle paper.
DP and cardstock from SU. Added lace from stash and a hatpin with pearls (thank you Iris for the pins and the pearls)s.
Here's what the inside looks like. I added the sentiment from SU - and since Susana's store blog is called Follow your heart - then I though this one would fit perfect.
Now it's dinner time and then we are getting ready to watch "Melodifestivalen".

Hugs and Kisses
The weekend is getting closer and we have a Christening on Saturday for my cute little niece Julia. So I better start making some cards for her ;-)
Here is another card that I made for the sketch challenge that we had on our local scrap event. Actually the sketch was made by me as well...hihi........
Well - love those Miss Anya's and all the Basic Grey Paper pads - available at RoP.
Added some lace, sentiment from SU, handbag as charm and some flowers cut out with my flower punch.
Sorry again for a very short post - but as I said - I better start on the Christening cards for Julia's gifts now.

Easter Wishes
Good Evening Ladies!
Just a very short and quick post from me today. I need to spend some time to work on my new sketches for the next set of images for Anki's Sweethearts. So I need to spend some time in "fantasy land" :-)
I just wanted to share this Easter card with you that I made on our local scrapevent.
Did not want to put too many layers on, since this yummy DP (that I purchased in Chicago last Easter) needs to be shown. I cut out my cute little Sweet'n Sassy with my oval nestie + added another pink oval in her background. Added a flower and dew drops from stash together with a heartshaped charm. Text from SU. And yes - used some of my "left overs" instead of a ribbon.
Well - need to go and get some inspiration now.
Will be back later and check out your blogs.

Would-a, could-a
taken a picture in daylight if I hadn't been at work of course ;-)
This weeks challenge at Susana's Store blog is to use any of Susana's stamps (her own line) to make a charm for your card/project. Extra credit for using any other supplies from the store. The person with the most supplies wins a bottle of the cool, new metallic dew drops!
I decided to make a different card than the one's I normally do. I cut one side of the cardstock to have the front in a triangle shape. Then I added different layers of DPs (from SU) on the inside of the card. Used my flower punch on the front cover and lace from stash.I coloured Melanie from Rubber Romance with my SU markers. Added stickles, shimmerz (on her bags) and highlights with white gel pen. I also added Bella Baubles on the front for some extra "bling" ;-). The pink ribbon is also from my stash.
Here's a picture of the inside of the card: As you can see - I used High Heel and Shoe Slide to create my "charm" and mounted them on flowers and scrappers floss. The fun sentiment is also from Susana's. A close up of the "charm" - hope you can see that I coloured the shoes with shimmerz to make them extra fancy ;-)
And finally a picture of the card half open:
Hope you'll like it. And as always - if you want to play - please upload your cards on PCP or SCS and mark them with the keyword "TIOT8". Make sure that you visit the store blog to see what the other ladies have been up to.

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Mine was great. We had a small scrapevent here in our little village and it was tons of fun. The time just went by so quickly - can you imagine - we made cards from 11.00 - 23.00 and had meals and snacks in between of course. It was just perfect! It's really fun to hear how quiet a room of 15 ladies can be - when everyone is focused on their project ;-))
I am a little late this time, but we have a new challenge for you over at RoP. This week is hosted by our sweet Rosette and she's made this wonderful sketch for you to try out. I decided to colour another sweet Miss Anya - can't really get enough of them ;-) They are so fun, funky and sweet at the same time. I coloured her with copics, added some shimmerz.
The DPs are from the Basic Grey Paper pads - love them too ;-)) (Summer also have some new one's in her store - so check them out)I moved some bits and pieces from Rosette's sketch and added some pink puncinella (you can see that the flash reflected against it). Flowers and center kisses also from RoP. I also got to use my ribbon and punch from SU.
Well - not it's time for Isac's bedtime stories - so I have to go. I will check in on you later tonight.
