I make cards for everyone! My family and crafty friends do know the love and effort that goes into them so they always get extra special ones.
For other friends at Christmas I like to batch make, it's much more personal than buying them but doesn't take up too much time. I made these fun cards with one of my favourite  quirky stamp sets from Mama Makes

I love making special cards for people who I think will understand how much effort (for 'effort' read: 'blood, sweat and tears') have gone into making their creation.  Today's card has been sent to a friend who I met at Uni, more than 25 years ago, when she was living in the UK. She's now back in her native Tokyo, but has previously sent me very intricate traditional Japanese cards, so I like to make more of an effort with a fancy fold or shape.  I've made a twist 'n' pop card which is actually easier than it looks and I was really pleased with the outcome.

I make cards and paper crafts for my family, but actually prefer making for my friends.  Most of them are makers of some sort and have a greater appreciation for the craft.

I just love making cards for everyone, but I have chosen Family this time. I always try to experiment a little, especially with hubby's cards. He is my critic who will tell me if my creation works or not! This is his Christmas card this year and has been a hit, so I am very pleased.

I love making card for friends and family. It is always a bonus when I notice that they really appreciate it that I made them a handmade card and/or present, but I understand that this hobby and receiving handmade cards is not for everyone. Recently I have made (together with my mother) an advent calendar for 2 aunts to cheer them up during these though times. It includes lots of handmade things and for 1 aunt I also added a little present for her granddaughter (almost 2). So this box is made for family, because they love receiving these things. In the boxes I have put boxes with raisins, she loves them. :)

I love making cards for friends and family, but I always run out of time! For this challenge I've chosen family - I would be in major trouble if I sent them a shop bought card. This one is for my in-laws.

I love making cards for family members. I always try and add more embellishments on them and adapt them to their interests.  My daughter has a new interest in making cakes, hence the image on this one.

I am fortunate to work with a fabulous bunch of ladies so I make it my mission to make something different for them each Christmas. This year I have made them
Festive Face Coverings as modelled by my glamorous assistant!!

I love making Christmas cards for family and friends, but it is always the friends who seem to appreciate them more.  I made this one for a friend whose family are "a challenge"!

I like to make cards for both family and friends. This challenge I made a card for a good friend who is a card maker too. For a card maker I put more effort into a card.
I love it when I get feedback from the recepient and know that they really appreciate a selfmade card and that they 'save' it.

So now it's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge and show us your style.
Don't forget, you MUST explain WHY it is your favourite to be eligible to win.

Good luck, and happy crafting.

I love all the oldies that remind me of happy childhood Christmases. I think they've stood the test of time and White Christmas is still one of my favourites.
I think the little houses in this cute Nordic image will most definitely be having a White Christmas!

My all-time favourite is The Snowman; I love the story and animation, and although it may be a few years old, I still enjoy watching it.  This image reminded me of the film with the little bear building his snowman friend, with help from the cute little critters.

I absolutely love 'Polar Express'.  I love the sweet story and the lessons taught.  It definitely touches my heart and reminds me of reading this to my babies every Christmas.  I still can't make it through with out a few tears.

I have chosen the movie 'Deck the Halls' with Danny DeVito and Matthew Broderick. I love the rivalry between the two neighbours decorating their homes for Christmas.

I like watching christmas movies, but don't have a real favourite. The last one I watched was Holiday in the wild and it was a fun movie, so I had to use wild animals on this christmas tag.

I love watching Christmas films, Scrooge, The Nativity, there are so many but one of my favourites is 'Elf'. I love that it just makes me laugh out loud.

For me it has to be Elf with Will Ferrell in his green suit.  It makes me smile and I think we all need a bit of humour in our lives at the moment.

I have so many favourite Christmas films but at the very top of the list has to be
Miracle on 34th Street, any of the three actually but in the most recent version I love it when the "bad people" declare they "believe" by showing their well concealed badges!!
My house definitely believes...no doubt about it, he's real!!

My favourite Christmas film ever only came out in 2011, but I must have seen it at least 15 times already, it has become a Squirrel Towers tradition for Christmas Eve afternoon.  This film is from Aardman Animations, the creators of Wallace & Gromit, and there is a grand helping of British humour and sentiment in there, and that film is ..... Arthur Christmas

My favorite movie is National Lampoon's Christmas Holiday. I've seen that movie so many times and I still laugh about it. So many absurd situations. Especially when Clark is busy putting the party lights on the house. Tears roll down my cheeks with laughter.

So now it's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge and show us your style.
