Baker Lake - Camping

August 2007 - Baker Lake Camping. this is our 4th time back, great place but for some reason we still get lost everytime we come over. Whose to blame I don't know, I only get my direction from mapquest.LOL!!! (laughing out loud). Love the peacefulness and just being close to nature. No television, video games, computer, telephones, cell phones and so on. Just fun quality time with family. My only problem is I ate too much. I felt like I gained 10 lbs in 3 days. My thinking is I can just go on a diet later.......besides who can resist barbeque pork, inihaw na bangus, mango and alamang, even Dolly made panset in honor and celebrating our birthdays. We are both August born. Can I just tell you that she makes the best panset. Miguel will agree to this. It's his favorite but only Tita Dolly's and sometimes Nanay's.

The other problem were the mosquitos. It seems like theres more this year than last, it might be the location we got. Poor Jason by the time we went home he has swollen face, but there's benadryl to the rescue. Next year I will have to reserved earlier so we can get a better spot,
closer to the lake. I think all in all it's worth all the mosquitos, getting lost finding the place to go back again. It is a great family tradition that we should keep.

In the Mood for scrap!!!

I was really inspired to scrap today. These are the four layouts I made . The new Basic Grey paper is really inspiring me. Sooo BEAUTIFUL. I needed to do few pages for Beng's album. These are the last two, I thought of Joe since it's a family album, he needed to be there too. hee hee!! Right Sis.

Can I just tell you how much I love these new Basic Grey papers. I think these are the best
design ever. I love all their papers. Well, I am a paper addict anyways and Basic Grey is my favorite of all time.
