The media was physically and chemically characterized and showed presence of Fe 2 O 3 (45.22%), SiO 2 (14.98%), Al 2 O 3 (3.21%), CaO (1.99%), SO 3 (1.77%) and MgO (1.33%). Scanning electron microscopy monographs revealed smooth and flat surface and no heterogeneity on the surface of the slag with visible micro pores before the experiment and less visible after the experiment. The point of zero charge of the media was 5.0. Equilibrium was reached after 4 h at 29.5 AE 0.71% phosphorus removal efficiency and media dosage of 0.4/100 mL. The kinetic data was best described by Pseudo second order equation. More than one mechanisms were involved in the adsorption of phosphorus onto copper smelter slag as suggested by multilinearity of intra particle diffusion model. Ninety seven percent (97.5 AE 0.0%) removal efficiency was achieved at an equilibrium dosage of 160 gL-1. The equilibrium isotherm was described better by Langmuir equation with observed maximum adsorption capacity of 0.16 mg P g À1 media and the experimental maximum adsorption capacity was 0.26 mg P g À1 media. Regeneration studies showed low performance with maximum efficiency of 11.7% revealed during the first regeneration trial therefore low practical benefits. Copper smelter slag is a poor adsorbent for phosphorus and further studies on the media should be conducted.

ISIS, the "State of Terror", is executing a sophisticated strategy that involves simultaneous efforts and attacks in Iraq and Syria, the Middle East and North Africa, and the wider world. Civil wars are intensifying in Ukraine, Yemen, and Libya, causing massive migration waves. The recent terrorist attack in Paris has shown that ISIS supported homegrown terrorism is an increasing threat. This article discusses the development and internal issues of the most dangerous terrorist organization. Although it was not a purpose to analyze the international consequences of the recent ISIS attack in Paris, the authors express their hope that ISIS might make a strategic mistake. On 13 rd November, 2015 can be a turning point in the fight against the Islamic State.

The mosaic changed to ruins following the counterinsurgency. The war in Iraq led to a complete chaos against all aspects of the society. The political, personal and community security issues and challenges are discussed in the study showing political repression, human rights violations, lack of rule of law and justice, physical violence, human trafficking, inter-ethnic tensions and terrorism.

It illustrates the military information support operations and technical tools used by insurgents while focusing on the recruitment strategy. The marketing analysis illustrates the recruitment strategy in marketing including opening new markets and expanding existing markets as compared to guerrilla recruitment locally and globally. It provides an overview of the use of information operations by ISIS and it concludes with a description of the recruitment strategy. REVIEW OF LITERATURE Information plays a vital role in military operations, and the new trends in warfare have resulted in an increased use in the information operations in the command, control, and execution of military operations. Information Operations are vital in modern warfare as it includes a wide variety of military operations that aims at influencing beliefs, feelings, and behavioural tendencies. According to the Joint Publication 3-13, "Information operations (IO) are described as the integrated employment of electronic warfare (EW), Computer network operations (CNO), psychological operations (PSYOP), military deception (MILDEC), and operations security (OPSEC), in concert with specified supporting and related capabilities, to influence, disrupt , corrupt, or usurp adversarial human and automated decision making while protecting our own ." 1 It integrates the application of force and the employment of information with the goal of affecting the perception, emotion, and attitude of adversaries. With this definition in hand; the IO includes a wide variety of military tools related to the information operations and aims at ensuring a competitive advantage in the information environment .

The spillover of massive migration and influx of arms leads to a crossover effect on the economic, political, social, educational, and health conditions in the host communities. This crossover may be filtered by historical and current political, economic and cultural environment of the neighboring countries. This paper analyzes the direct spillover effect of the conflict and the crossover effect on the neighboring countries. It identifies the positive and negative consequences of the conflict on the neighboring countries by focusing on the possible negative and positive impacts of refugee influx. The paper utilizes existing data regarding the Syrian conflict and the refugee influx on the neighboring countries, as well as field visits to the neighboring countries to illustrate the Spillover–Crossover model. It also provides a description of the influx of migration including statistics and policies of the host communities to help identify the different possible consequences along with a detailed description of the crossover effect.

Syrian families are becoming members of ethnic minority groups in Jordan and Lebanon. The study shows that the influx of refugees is affecting the age structure, population rate, and the socioeconomic structure of the communities. It is also affecting the sectarian and religious balance in Lebanon. The study also reveals that despite all the activities conducted by the international community to support the refugees in the region they lack the different dimensions of human security. The article examines how the demographic change in the host countries along with the lack of human security of the refugees could affect the national security in the host countries.

The contributions examine and explore not only general narratives but also various specific aspects of the conflict and post-conflict situations in relation to the roles and statuses of these women, with a number of scholars reflecting on topics from various disciplines and key areas such as the Middle East. This collection also includes some articles on the suffering of women outside of the Middle East, thus illustrating the similarity of some general issues women have to face throughout the world.
