RupeeLord's Theories

RupeeLord's Theories

Compass Theory

I have noticed that the similar geography between the different games have been the same, but in different places or different perspectives. So I have made a theory that the compass directions have changed over the games.

Examples: In Ocarina of Time, the Temple of Time's entrance faces to the west, but in Twilight Princess, the Temple's entrance faces to the south.

Bombchu Theory

Sacred Grove Theory

Due to the location of the temple of time, the deeper parts of the sacred grove could be the ruins of the once Castle Town market. This could further be proven by the fact that the deeper parts look man made are architectual. The last area where you fight Skull Kid is possibly the main part of the Market.

Outset Island Theory

Outset Island really is Lake Hylia

Evidence: In Oot, there was a tree on the larger island(the one containing the water temple), and in WW, the larger of the rocks has the forest of fairies in it, which means that the Tree could've grown and spread its roots to form the Forest.

Earth Temple/Spirit Temple

It is possible that the Spirit Temple from Ocarina of Time is the Earth Temple from The Wind Waker in that:

  • The Dungeon Item in both Temples is the Mirror Shield
  • Both Dungeons are full of Undead.
  • Both Temples have many mirrors.

Gerudo Mesa/Mother Isle

Not much on this one, but the Gerudo Mesa from TP could be the Mother Isle of the Mother and Child Isles from TWW.

  • They are relatively the same size and shape
  • They are in the west, and the Mother Isle is near the Forsaken Fortress, which possibly could be the Gerudo Fortress
  • They both house the Queen of the Fairies.

Tower of the Gods is really the Temple of Time

So, thanks to Zeldawiki, they erased most of my Tower of the Gods/Temple of Time theory without giving me a chance to copy it down. So, Im going to post it all over again revised and listed.

First of all:

  • By observing the ceiling architcture in the first part of the Tower, it looks just like the Temple of Time.
  • There are stained glass windows in certain rooms, much like the Temple of Time.
  • In TP, when you put the master sword in the pedestal, a translucent staircase appears, in the Tower of the Gods, certain rooms have similar translucent staircases and floors.
  • The various panels throughout the Tower depict a symbol that more or less resembles a distorted version of the Light Medallion.
  • The same symbol can be seen on the beamos in the circular room, which I have said could be the spot of the original master sword.
  • The Temple of Time Dungeon in TP and The Tower of the Gods both have a Darknut as a miniboss.
  • In TP, there are several bell shaped objects, in TWW, the bell on top of the tower resembles them.
  • They are both close to Hyrule Castle.
  • Both Temples have a balance/scale that requires the weight of statues to manipulate. In TWW, when Link was returning one of the statues to its post, he had to cross to the other side as well as the bring the statue along with him, much like in TP with the statue.
  • The two temples both have statues in which Link can control. In TWW, when Link uses the Command Melody to control a statue, the statue's outline turns green. In TP, when Link uses the Dominion Rod on a statue, the statue's outline also turns green. Coincidence?
