"The Flying Tile" is a Side Quest in Echoes of Wisdom.[1]

Overview

At the Oasis, Princess Zelda can meet a Gerudo woman named Tormali who is looking for something.[2][3] When she notices Zelda nearby, Tormali apologizes and introduces herself as a guard for the Oasis.[4] She reveals that she has recently received an additional task from her boss, and since Zelda is a traveler, she thinks she may be able to help.[5] Tormali explains that her boss, Facette, wants her to find a Flying Tile, but she has been unable to find one.[6] Should Zelda find one, Tormali requests that she bring it to her.[7] After this conversation, "The Flying Tile" will begin.

If Zelda summons the Echo of a Flying Tile in front of Tormali, she will be shocked by it at first.[8] When it begins moving, she realizes that it is the Object that Facette told her about.[9] Tormali then asks Zelda to show her more Flying Tiles.[10] Having seen how Flying Tiles work, Tormali feels confident that she can report back to Facette, and she gives Zelda a Purple Rupee to reward her for her help.[11] Tormali recalls that, although Facette does not leave Gerudo Town often, she makes sure to research the nearby ruins to find useful Objects for the Gerudo.[12] As a result, Tormali wants to follow in her footsteps.[13] "The Flying Tile" will be completed following this.
