Mushroom Rice Balls are recurring Items in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2][3]
Location and Uses
Breath of the Wild
Mushroom Rice Balls can be made by Cooking any Mushroom together with Hylian Rice. The regular version can be made either by using Hylian Shrooms, which have no status effects, or by using multiple Mushrooms with differing effects. When eaten, they will restore some Hearts to Link's Life Gauge. The scent of mushrooms tickles one's nose as they peel back the leafy wrappings of this Meal.[1]
By using certain Mushrooms, the following variations of Mushroom Rice Balls can be made:
- Chilly Mushroom Rice Balls:[4] Made by using Chillshrooms or other chilly ingredients. These rice balls can be eaten to grant Link one level of Heat Resistance.[4]
- Electro Mushroom Rice Balls:[5] Made by using Zapshrooms or other electric ingredients. They grant Link one level of Shock Resistance when eaten.[5]
- Enduring Mushroom Rice Balls:[6] Made by using Endura Shrooms or other enduring ingredients. These meals will completely refill and overfill Link's Stamina Wheel.[6]
- Energizing Mushroom Rice Balls:[7] Made by using Stamella Shrooms or other energizing ingredients. Link's Stamina Wheel will be partially restored by eating these.[7]
- Hasty Mushroom Rice Balls:[8] Made by using Rushrooms or other hasty ingredients. Consuming them will increase Link's speed.[8]
- Hearty Mushroom Rice Balls:[9] Made by using Hearty Truffles, Big Hearty Truffles, or other hearty ingredients. Eating these rice balls will heal all of Link's Hearts and grant him temporary Hearts.[9]
- Mighty Mushroom Rice Balls:[10] Made by using Razorshrooms or other mighty ingredients. If eaten, Link will receive a boost to his attack power.[10]
- Sneaky Mushroom Rice Balls:[11] Made by using Silent Shrooms or other sneaky ingredients. Eating them will increase Link's Stealth.[11]
- Spicy Mushroom Rice Balls:[12] Made by using Sunshrooms or other spicy ingredients. Link can eat them to gain one level of Cold Resistance.[12]
- Tough Mushroom Rice Balls:[13] Made by using Ironshrooms or other tough ingredients. When eaten, Link's defense will be boosted.[13]
