Description
A rare radish that grows best in sunny plains. Cook it before eating to temporarily increase your maximum hearts.
Common Locations
Hyrule Ridge
East Necluda
Hearts Recovered
Cooking Effects
Extra Hearts

Hearty Radishes are found in the ground in Hyrule Ridge and East Necluda, their location indicated by their stalk. Hearty Radishes are also sold by Beedle at the East Akkala Stable and the General Shoppe. Hearty Radishes can be eaten raw to restore two and a half Hearts. If a Hearty Radish is roasted over a Campfire, it becomes a Roasted Radish. If a Hearty Radish is Cooked in a Cooking Pot, the resulting Food will grant Link Extra Hearts, which temporarily increases Link's maximum Hearts.[1] At the Kochi Dye Shop, Hearty Radishes are one of the ingredients that can be used to make Peach Hateno Dye. Hearty Radishes are not required to upgrade any pieces of Armor at a Great Fairy Fountain.

Making Creamy Heart Soup in a Cooking Pot requires Link to use either a Hearty Radish or a Big Hearty Radish:
