Location and Uses

Breath of the Wild

Carrot Cakes are type of Cake made by combining Tabantha Wheat, Cane Sugar, Goat Butter, and either a Swift Carrot or an Endura Carrot in a Cooking Pot. Their mild sweetness makes them enjoyed by even those who dislike Carrot.[1]

Regular Carrot Cake can be made by using one of each carrot, which can be eaten to restore seven Hearts in Link's Life Gauge. Two other variations of Carrot Cake also exist, depending on which kind of Carrot is used to make them:

  • Hasty Carrot Cake:[3] Made by using a Swift Carrot. Eating one will grant Link a mid-level speed boost.[3] They restore three of Link's Hearts and can also be sold for 40 Rupees.

Tears of the Kingdom

Carrot Cake returns in Tears of the Kingdom with an identical Recipe. It can be made in either a Cooking Pot or a Portable Pot.
