Characteristics

Echoes of Wisdom

Descriptionshide ▲
Aruroda
From out of the vast and trackless desert comes this one-eyed menace. It tries to get behind foes to sting them.

Arurodas are scorpion-like Enemies with one Eye that appear within the Gerudo Desert. They attack by maneuvering behind their target and striking them with their stinger.[2] When summoned as an Echo, they have an Echo cost of two.

Nomenclature

In Japanese, Aruroda's name (アルローダ (Arurōda)) is similar to the name of Lowder (ローダー (Rōdā)), suggesting a link between the two. While "Arurōda" does lack one of the chōonpu present in "Rōdā", this is not unusual; for example, Leever has been named リーバー (Rībā) and リーバ (Rība) in different games.
