My first ever MtG card!! Haha, sort of... It was my great pleasure to paint MtG's Jace Beleren for SMITE's big crossover event. This was one the most fun paintings I've ever done and it's always been a dream of mine to do a Magic the Gathering Card! Hint, cough, nudge, awkward wink, WotC hahaha ;) Cheers, All! hello! gonna put a pin in this one for now. some of you may recognize who this may be inspired by, its Jace from MTG ( at least our take on him) . this was a collaboration with my good, and very talented friend cajun hylton who did the cloth modeling in MD and face model. got to use vrScans from chaos group for the cloth shaders, and xyz for skin textures. also used a little bit of houdini to simulate the eye smoke/fire.
