I'll keep my commentary to a minimum here, since I've already discussed Frazetta's connection with Conan the Cimmerian, and some of the style involved in the illustration. The piece above, the cover for the Ace edition "Conan the Adventurer" is the print hanging in my home. I think it is the best all around example of Frazetta's Conan work at least for tone. The first was only published in a limited fanzine, as far as I know, and is from 1969 or 1970. I put up the Tanar painting cuz it looks so darn close, but was a few years later, and the drawing feels more like Conan than Tanar/Tarzan. The third image was printed in the interior of The Hunter Out Of Time, but Fritz dinnae do the cover! Pardon my dust, but both drawings have weird foo-foo enhancements that I can't get rid of
