A group of volunteers cleaning up a section of coastline, collecting plastic waste as well as glass, paper and fishing waste. They are cleaning the beach and adjoining sand dune, and range in age from forties, thirties, teenagers and 8 years old

The IALD x Acuity Brands service series "Brightening our Communities" returned with a beach cleanup effort inspired by the upcoming "Chase the Dark" event in SoCal! Participants removed over 20 lbs of trash from Venice Beach, with Acuity Brands providing snacks and beverages that morning. Thanks to all who were involved!
