I recently made this turban; it took less than a week to finish and was the perfect project to have going in the midst of some of my bigger (both knitting and sewing) works-in-progress. I used a pattern from the V&A website for a 1940s moss stitch turban (see my blog for links) and a beautiful alpaca/silk yarn from KnitPicks.
