Nevereverland

Assalamualaikum,

Wohoo, holly molly. It's been awhile now, I promised to update my blog often and look at what happened? Being productive is really hard nowadays since I've started working and you all know that it takes up most of your time and you can't do anything much when you reach home after work. Except for Saturday and Sundays, though you'll feel you don't have any energy left and decided to just stay at home resting and lazying around. Sometimes, you'll try to meet up with your friends, had dinner together, catching up with each other and will end it with watching a movie. You'll go back home and wished you had another not working day because you've step outside the house for one day long. Woah, this is how working people's life in reality. Luckily I like what I'm doing and my office's environment is not very stressful. That's a plus! :D

Anyway, I've been reading a lot of manga (Japanese comic book) and anime (Japanese cartoon), occasionally the live-action (drama that has been made based on a comic or cartoon) during my free time. I can watch them for one whole day if I don't feel like doing anything productive. I should start being productive again as I have so many things in my mind that I really want to do.  Time spent with family and friends are decreasing because of work as well and sometimes I gave a thought about it. Even building a gundam nowadays took me a month or more to get it completed and I was doing it without any extra things like painting them all over again, lining and etc.

Oh yeah, I was about to tell you guys about something interesting. It's about this singer that I really like. A Japanese singer but she's been living outside the country for quite awhile and came back to Japan(so, her English pronunciation is good and some of her songs are fully English and she even made English version of some of her full Japanese song). It was long ago I guess and I wonder why I only know about this particular singer recently. You can say that this person is mysteriously interesting because this person didn't show her face towards her fan by wearing a hoodie while she sings. Most of her past music videos were animated and people often asked the title of the anime. LOL. She can sing guy's tune and often wearing pants and jackets that made people mistook her for a guy. Haha! I thought that she was a male before finding out the truth. It amazed me on how she can sing male's tune and made me like her even more!

Presenting, Nano! (ナノ)

This is the piece that caught my attention at first.

This is one of my favorite as well as it is something that is relatable.

Then, this song is where she's actually inside the mv but wearing a hoodie to cover her face. I wonder if the people working with her knows how she actually look likes. If they know, they're so lucky!

Well, that's it! See ya!

Review: Catatan Matluthfi

Hello everyone!

A few days ago I bought myself this book. I know this book has been out in the market a very long time ago and it's a coincidence that I stumbled upon "Catatan Matluthfi". It's like, finally! It's been so hard to get one of these and I told myself I must have this book. Especially when it's the only one left! I know you can buy this online but I didn't and I'm not sure why.

Well, why would this book become so popular and seems like almost everyone in Malaysia buying it? It's because of Matluthfi! For those who don't know who he is, he's one of the many popular Malaysian Youtuber and I've been following him for quite a few years now. He is also famous because of his jokes and puns in the video he made. Other than that, he's studying architecture in Australia and I guess now he's going to continue his Master soon this year. His vlogs were amazing and the best part was, he always gonna have something in his videos that we all can learn and reflects about ourselves. His funny sides are adorable and he is now probably a guy that every Malaysian woman would like to marries. Haha! :p

Picture above is how the book looks like inside. In this book, Matluthfi wrote them both in Malaysian Language and English Language. It's full of pictures and some doodles as well. Some pages has some screenshots of famous movies that acts as a meme for the things that he describes. This book is very interesting as it's not like any other normal book as it consists of every bits and pieces of his journey of life such especially during his college life in Perth. Most of if was a one page short and fun story so it will never be boring. My favorite part was about his family. Every little stories that he wrote about them, you can feel his love towards his parents and naughty siblings. You can tell where he got the funny personalities from. Hehehe

That's the back cover of the book. Besides from his famous videos, he was involved in a few charity programmes and seminars in Malaysia. Here I'm putting links that's related to Matluthfi in case you guys wants to check him out:

Twitter    : https://twitter.com/matluthfi90
Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Matluthfi90/178805998821610

Most of his post is in Malaysian language, though you can see him posting in English as well.

Also, here I will give the link where to buy this book online. Apparently it's really hard to find this book in any bookstore and I feel really lucky to actually stumbled across this book.

Online Store: http://pts.com.my/buku/catatan-matluthfi/

From that link, they also provide an e-book version of it. Though I prefer it to be in hardcopy.
Uh-oh, did I mentioned to you guys that I finished reading this book in about 3 hours?

I bet even people who don't read books will enjoy "Catatan Matlutfi". Some of the contents were from the things that he posted online and I feel like I've been following his post around too much since I can remember most of them. All in all, 5 stars for Matluthfi! May your journey of life will be successful!

Cheers!

Guess What?

First post of the year 2015!

Can't decide which image I want put up on this post so why not just put them all. Hehe...

So yeah, I'm back! :D

Review: Mei-chan no Shitsuji

Yoho!

I'm having my semester breaks now so that is the reason why I have time to spend to watch a lot of drama, manga and playing games. Also, not to mention to post something on this blog. Teehee.

So, since there were nothing much to do I'm going to make a review about one of my favorite Japanese Drama called Mei-chan no Shitsuji or Mei's Butler. It is an adaptation from a manga which I'm going to read later on and I probably will talk about it too in the future.

This drama has 10 episodes and is a comedy and romance type of genre. Directed by Ishikawa Junichi, Kinoshita Takao and Iwata Kazuyuki. This drama begin to be aired on 2009. Though, it's still fun to watch it nowadays and I myself has been watching this a few times.

I rate this drama as a

Why 4 stars?
This story is about a girl named Mei who have a very humble life since she was born. Her parents open a small udon restaurant at the countryside where she lived. She go through her everyday life as a high school student with her friends, Kento and Natsumi. Before going to school, she will help her parents at the restaurant and came to school with her hair covered with some flour.

Not long after that, her parents died in accident and she have no one else. At this moment, Rihito appeared and offered to be a butler to Mei and discovered a secret of her life. Since then, her life changed drastically.

I love comedy very much and it's fun to watch Mei itself going through her new life. Having a butler by her side made her less lonely and her new friends who hated her at first slowly becoming her strength to go on with her new life.

The ridiculous logic content in this stories somehow made the story alive and japanese comedy drama is known to be doing something like that. Some part were also exaggerated to attract the audience and laugh about it. Even I talked about it after I watched the whole series. I mean like, how can a child fly a helicopter by herself and learnt how to fly it at the age of 4. =.="

There's much more about this drama and I can't afford to fit it all in this post because I know it will be too long to read. So, if you're curious about how Mei's life is gonna be it is best for you to watch it. :D

Review: 35-sai no Koukousei

Gokigenyou minna~san!

35-sai no Koukosei or also known as 35-year-old High School Student

A Japanese drama that I watched recently. This school drama has only 11 episodes and aired last year. Directed by Sakuma Noriyoshi, Nagumo Seiichi and Nishino Maki.

I think I will give this drama rating as much as

So, what made me rate this drama as a 4 star drama?
First of all, this drama is about a 35 year old woman named Baba Ayako went to a high school not to be a teacher but a student. The reason is unknown even from the audience perspective of view. It will made you wonder so much much about it and try to pick up the little clue in each episode. For me myself, I still can't figure out why did she went to the Kunikida High School in the first place? Is it some kind of mission or because of her past? There are a few conflicts and this drama manage to get the audience confused about the answer together with the other character inside. So, overall I think that this drama succeed to draw our attention to solve the mystery together.

Other than that, this is not like our typical Malaysia drama always has the same theme and no variety at all. This drama is about how the high school society nowadays that involved in bullying and hurting others mentally and emotionally. Suicide, wrist-cutting, teacher as a failure, social ranking in class, how violent and brutal a student can be and much more. Each episode is a different story and plot but everything is connected with each other and made us wonder what's gonna happen next and the answer is really different than what we think. Thus, this drama also gave me unexpected ending and unexpected answer. Literally, I don't expect this to be that and that to be this. I even cried a little in some few episodes but it was not just about some sad stories but happy and funny stories too. This drama is all about psychology indeed.

I mean like, what the heck a 35 year old woman who drove a really nice blue sports car and have a very nice sense of fashion style, is doing in a school, to study and graduate together with her fellow classmates aged around 17 and to try to live her life to the fullest as a high school student?

If you want to know the reason behind her coming to Kunikida High School, go watch it yourself. =D

Toodles!
