The effect of regional integration would be doubled for countries stressing open trade as opposed to creating trade-diverting conditions, which requires drafting different kinds of agreements, particularly FTAs. The impact of regional integration is essential, especially for small open economies like Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia with a large economy, such as that of the People’s Republic of China. At the same time, FTAs have mutual economic benefits for all participant countries. The authors of this paper will assess the possible impacts of regional integration of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia and China on their economies with several trade indicators and the SMART Model.
