One downside is that it's much harder to query. Also, the new query builder cannot generate queries for qualifiers (yet). We don't have space restrictions on properties either (we can have hundreds of thousands if we want).--So9q (talk) 13:39, 27 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Support I am generally in favour of having more specific subproperties, rather than trying to fudge several slightly different senses of a concept together, which can often be very confusing. Support The Linked Open Data cloud diagram (Q43984865) is a good source of such information, but platforms like YummyData (Q108303126) also encourage resources themselves to provide this information that Wikidata could regularly query. --Egon Willighagen (talk) 13:49, 27 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
