Motivation

[edit]

Current PremiershipRugby.com player ID (obsolete) (P861) needs to be replaced. In fact, both the URL and the ID format have been changed. For instance, the old URL for Chris Ashton (Q127618) was

http://rd.premiershiprugby.com/players/player-archive.php?includeref=dynamic&player=62910

while the new one is

https://www.premiershiprugby.com/player?PlayGuid=CA363466

and there seems to be no way to redirect from the old address to the new one. In cases like this, we usually create a new property for avoiding confusion and possible uncorrect third-party usages. --Horcrux (talk) 18:58, 3 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
