Motivation
[edit]The proposed property can be used to indicate that the referenced work continues an arc (of a character or thing) contained in the work. of course, we currently have follows (P155) & followed by (P156) but these are reserved for works that are in the same series of thing. (or are they?).--Shisma (talk) 19:13, 26 September 2018 (UTC)
Discussion
[edit]- I'm not completely sure about this, so Weak support. --Giovanni Alfredo Garciliano Díaz ★ diskutujo 21:24, 26 September 2018 (UTC)

- Comment we could also use has spin-off (P2512)--Shisma (talk) 18:42, 27 September 2018 (UTC)
- Comment I'm unsure about this. It could lead to well known works like Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 (Q232009) having a gigantic list of marginally notable fan fiction attached to it. Do we need this vs based on (P144)? Or perhaps have the secondary work point back to to primary work with a property like "continues plot from?" -- Fuzheado (talk) 01:09, 2 October 2018 (UTC)
- Support My first reaction was against this, but on reflection it has a distinct meaning of successor narrative but not part of the same series which is useful and not captured in any of the mentioned alternatives. has spin-off (P2512) and based on (P144) could point to works that have any kind of relation with the primary work, not just extending its plot.
