Sellier & Bellot 6.5 Creedmoor 140 Grain FMJBT – 20 Rounds
$18.85Product Type Ammo Manufacturer Sellier & Bellot Condition New Bullet Weight 140 Grain Bullet Type Full Metal Jacket Boat Tail (FMJ-BT) Use Type plinking at the range Casing Type Brass Quantity 20 Ammo Caliber 6.5mm Creedmoor Manufacturer SKU SB65A Primer Type Boxer Magnetic No UPC Barcode 754908512553 Cost Per Round 94.2¢ per round This is an affordably priced 6.5 Creedmoor cartridge from Sellier & Bellot, although its attractive price tag certainly doesn’t denote some deficit in its accuracy. It’s outfitted with a 140 grain projectile, which is jacketed with a copper alloy that is highly resistant to cracking or deformation. That enables it to keep its streamlined form under the heavy pressures it’s exposed to during ignition. This bullet’s jacket encompasses even its base, which is angled into a boat tail. The bullet’s tapered base measurably improves its ballistic coefficient to improve its accuracy, so this round’s as poised to let you win a match as it is to let you make the best of your time while you’re perforating very distant targets.
Its Czech manufacturer gave this round a factory fresh brass casing, which is more than worthy of multiple reloads. Its Boxer primer is non-corrosive, and its propellant is clean burning -- together they’ll keep your rifle more accurate longer in between cleanings. -

Sellier & Bellot gave each round a 140 grain soft point bullet, good for everything from whitetail to hogs to coyote. Its copper alloy jacket promotes proper penetration at close to medium range, and its lead core will fan out to help you make a cleaner kill. A soft point bullet isn’t the most expensive hunting bullet you could invest in, so you won’t kick yourself for firing a few of these rounds at things that aren’t made of meat.
If you’re on Wideners, you’re probably at least acquainted with Sellier & Bellot. As the world’s oldest continually operating ammo manufacturer, they’ve certainly gotten around, and they’re getting more and more popular in our country. (That’s a good country to be a popular ammo manufacturer in.) Their bag of tricks includes a fine brass casing that plays nice with any rifle, clean burning primers and propellant, and a quality assurance department that doesn’t miss a thing. -
Sellier & Bellot 6.5 Creedmoor 140 Grain SP – 20 Rounds
$21.85Product Type Ammo Manufacturer Sellier & Bellot Condition New Bullet Weight 140 Grain Bullet Type Soft-Point (SP) Use Type hunting whitetail deer Casing Type Brass Quantity 20 Ammo Caliber 6.5mm Creedmoor Manufacturer SKU SB65C Primer Type Boxer Magnetic No UPC Barcode 754908512607 Cost Per Round $1.09 per round This 6.5 Creedmoor round by Sellier & Bellot is going to serve you well this coming deer season. It fires a 140 grain soft point bullet at a muzzle velocity of 2,657 fps, which is conventional for that weight. This bullet’s copper-zinc alloy jacket is hard enough to prevent rapid barrel leading, as well as to inhibit deformation and promote penetration through any number of hides. With enough oomph behind it, the bullet’s exposed core will deform, topple around, and otherwise do things that you wouldn’t want to happen near any of your vital organs. Have them happen to a buck’s vital organs instead!
We’ve always been impressed by just how well Sellier & Bellot knows their business. You get a lot of consistency for a good price from the old Czech manufacturer, so these rounds have got excellent brass casings, clean burning primers, and charges that produce a consistent muzzle velocity. Handy things to have on hand for most any kind of hunting. -
Sellier & Bellot 6.5 Creedmoor 131 Grain SP – 20 Rounds
$22.85Product Type Ammo Manufacturer Sellier & Bellot Condition New Bullet Weight 131 Grain Bullet Type Soft-Point (SP) Use Type hunting whitetail deer Casing Type Brass Quantity 20 Ammo Caliber 6.5mm Creedmoor Manufacturer SKU SB65B Primer Type Boxer Magnetic No UPC Barcode 754908512614 Cost Per Round $1.14 per round Are you looking for 6.5 Creedmoor ammunition that’ll drop bucks, but you don’t want to shell out extra for premium hunting bullets? Say no more, say no more! This cartridge is made in the Czech Republic by Sellier & Bellot, and it is loaded with the tried and true yet not overly sophisticated soft point projectile.
This round’s 131 grain SP operates on a simple principle: When the exposed lead in its nose meets resistance from soft tissue, it forces the bullet to mushroom outward while tumbling about inside said soft tissue. The SP’s copper alloy jacket is nonmagnetic, tough enough to ensure smooth feeding and deep penetration, and concentric enough to deliver good accuracy (0.389 G1 BC). The low-drag projectile reliably retains over 1,000 ft lbs of energy at 400 yards. Watch out Mr. Deer.
You can also employ this ammo for dehoggulation purposes, and it makes a fine solution for training the same way you would hunt at the range. Sellier & Bellot has spent nearly 200 years honing their production protocol. Their virgin brass cases and non-corrosive Boxer primers make their ammo both reliable and reloadable. -

They became Mexico’s foremost ammunition manufacturer during their time in business, and also earned a global reputation for the quality of their rimfire products. But Aguila is no stranger to centerfire ammo, either – as thoroughly evidenced by their 6.5 Creedmoor target loads!
This cartridge’s 140 grain projectile achieves a muzzle velocity of 2,600 fps. As an FMJBT it is equipped with the sleek nose profile and tapering base it needs to conserve superior velocity downrange, so you can anticipate precisely the flat and wind-resistant trajectory you need in order to hone your marksmanship.
Aguila was founded in Mexico in collaboration with Remington. They’re on their own now, but their ammunition still has all the hallmarks of an American-made round. As such this ammo features compliant nonmagnetic projectiles, 100% non-corrosive Boxer primers and factory fresh reloadable brass cases. A fine choice for any recreational shooting, and not remotely incapable of sending very small critters to go and see their maker. -

Hornady American Whitetail 6.5 Creedmoor 129 Grain InterLock – 200 Rounds

The bullet offers more reliable terminal performance than you’ll ever see from a conventional soft point, because its tapered jacket and inner grooves work together to ensure that devastating expansion always takes place, even at lower velocities. This is a bullet that burrows deeply as well -- its solid one-piece core retains a great deal of mass and doesn’t separate like a divided core would, and its cannelure and InterLock ring secure that core and its jacket tightly together.
The InterLock boasts a very high ballistic coefficient, as its secant ogive profile minimizes the drag that it creates in flight. That translates to a very flat a trajectory, improved resistance to cross winds, and more energy to inflict on impact downrange. With Hornady’s own premium brass casing, carefully formulated and weighed propellant, and sensitive Boxer primer to complement such a fine bullet’s performance, no buck will be outside your grasp. -
Sellier & Bellot 6.5 Creedmoor 156 Grain SP – 20 Rounds

Product Type Ammo Manufacturer Sellier & Bellot Condition New Bullet Weight 156 Grain Bullet Type Soft-Point (SP) Use Type hunting big game, hunting whitetail deer Casing Type Brass Quantity 20 Ammo Caliber 6.5mm Creedmoor Manufacturer SKU SB65D Primer Type Boxer Magnetic No UPC Barcode 754908512621 Cost Per Round $1.29 to $1.34 per round To hunt the deer, you must become the deer. Wear a set of antlers and tape a white glove to your tailbone. But even though a deer would never order this 6.5 Creedmoor ammunition by Sellier & Bellot, we highly recommend that you do.
This round features a classic soft point. It’s nothing fancy because it doesn’t need to be – a soft point reliably expands to register a crippling wound channel, especially with the 6.5 Creedmoor’s power working for it.
This round’s 156 grain bullet leaves a 21.75” barrel at 2,444 fps. It remains just faster than 1,910 fps at 300 yards, at which point it still packs more than enough juice to ethically crumple a whitetail at 1,263 ft lbs. Sellier & Bellot jackets their soft point with a tough copper alloy, so it resists the urge to splinter apart as its exposed core mushrooms outward. You’ll likely find some fragmentation following high velocity impact, but the point is you will find it inside the deer you just put down.
Sellier & Bellot’s nonmagnetic bullet sits on a new brass case, so you can easily get 100 handloads out of this mere box of 20. The Czech producer’s non-corrosive primers won’t turn your rifle to rubbish if you don’t clean it out with hot water.Customer Reviews

Worked in Africa and on Whitetail

Decided to use this ammo on a Safari to South Africa. Tested it on a Missouri Whitetail prior to Safari. Dropped everything I shot, the Zebra and Kudu were the only animals that went about 40 yards before collapsing.

She will be so proud of you! Go ahead and give her a shout right now. We’ll wait here.
(Phew. It’s good to take a little break from writing ammo descriptions. Wonder if I have time for a smoke … nah, the customer probably won’t take that long to call his memaw. Oh shoot, he’s back already…)
Glad you’re back! Okay, you are looking at Aguila’s Mexican-made 6.5 Creedmoor ammunition, which is perfect for tagging all kinds of deer species with the exception of moose, elk, and maybe some of the beastlier critters that traverse the tundra and serengeti. The 129 grain soft point has the sleek profile it needs to retain about 85% of its starting velocity at 200 yards, at which range it tags with around 1,650 ft lbs of force. That’s just a ballpark estimate, but even so, the SP’s terminal expansion ought to prove plenty deadly throughout the 6.5 CM’s proven range.
Aguila has been hard at it since the 1960s. They don’t cut corners, which is why this ammo features steel-free bullets, noncorrosive Boxer primers, and never-before-fired reloadable brass cases. Need 6.5 CM component bullets, too? Then check these out! -
Hornady American Whitetail 6.5 Creedmoor 129 Grain InterLock – 20 Rounds
$27.85Product Type Ammo Manufacturer Hornady Condition New Bullet Weight 129 Grain Bullet Type Soft-Point (SP) Use Type hunting whitetail deer Casing Type Brass Quantity 20 Ammo Caliber 6.5mm Creedmoor Manufacturer SKU 81489 Primer Type Boxer Magnetic No UPC Barcode 090255814897 Cost Per Round $1.39 per round Make the outcome of this coming deer season a sure thing with a round designed solely for bagging bucks. This American Whitetail 6.5 Creedmoor round by Hornady showcases its manufacturer’s 129 grain InterLock projectile, a soft point bullet with futuristic features. The bullet delivers outstanding weight retention owing not only to the raised ring inside its jacket from which it takes its name, but also its sturdy one-piece core and shank’s cannelure as well. The fashion in which the InterLock’s jacket is carefully tapered along with the interior grooves which strategically weaken it mean that this is the bullet you depend on to expand at essentially any velocity.
The InterLock boasts a staggering ballistic coefficient because of its secant ogive profile. Its unique geometry lessens the drag it incurs in flight, and in turn improves its downrange velocity, makes it less receptive to wind interference, and noticeably flattens its trajectory to make long shots easier to connect. This round’s brass casing has been selected by Hornady for the uniformity of its dimensions, and its primer is über responsive. -

Just don’t position the cherry or blueberry you’ll be shooting at on top your son’s head, for safety reasons.
This cartridge owes its superior accuracy to its 120 grain open tip match projectile. It’s a target bullet with a uniformly distributed core within its jacket, as it settled there while still molten. The open tip match’s virtually perfect balance lets it hold on to its trajectory farther downrange. What you should not expect this bullet to do, however, is expand.
American Eagle’s cartridges are priced well, but as a Federal label they still evince that Minnesotan touch of quality. These rounds have fresh brass casings, sensitive Boxer primers, and propellant that delivers a constant chamber pressure. -
Federal American Eagle 6.5 Creedmoor 120 Grain TMJ – 20 Rounds

This round’s 120 grain total metal jacket is an upgrade from the standard target load’s FMJ. Its lead core is totally enveloped by gilding metal, which prohibits white hot propellant gasses from gassifying any lead during ignition. A TMJ’s base remains undeformed to promote better accuracy, and it will also keep a barrel’s rifling cleaner and more effective at its job. A TMJ will also keep the air surrounding your face cleaner, so your range day won’t have a negative impact on your precious and irreplaceable lung meat.
Federal’s high-quality TMJ teams up with their clean-burning powder and sensitive primer to achieve a muzzle velocity of 2,900 fps and G1 ballistic coefficient of 0.406. The 100-year-old company mints the fine brass cases which cycle and chamber neatly, and which also become perfect for reloading as soon as they’re emptied! -

A popular choice for match shooting events, this bullet’s high ballistic coefficient is largely the result of its boat tail design, giving it remarkable accuracy, resistance to wind drift, and ability to maintain momentum downrange. This bullet’s jacket is built to stellar concentricity, and its uniform core further improves its stability in flight. This bullet is not only optimized for accuracy, however, as its hollow point design causes it to expand dramatically within soft targets. Its straight flight path and devastating terminal performance makes the Sierra MatchKing a versatile choice, no matter what you’re shooting for.
This cartridge’s benchrest quality Gold Medal primer is both sensitive and uniform, and thoroughly complements its bullet’s ballistic performance, and its propellant is specially formulated for its caliber. Hornady Precision Hunter 6.5 Creedmoor 143 Grain ELD-X – 200 Rounds
$374.85Product Type Ammo Manufacturer Hornady Condition New Bullet Weight 143 Grain Bullet Type ELD-X Use Type hunting big game, hunting whitetail deer Casing Type Brass Quantity 200 Ammo Caliber 6.5mm Creedmoor Manufacturer SKU 81499 Primer Type Boxer Magnetic No UPC Barcode 10090255814993 Cost Per Round $1.87 per round This 6.5 Creedmoor cartridge by Hornady features its manufacturer’s own 143 grain ELD-X projectile. Hailed as an incredibly effective means for all-distance hunting, the ELD-X makes short work of a far away target thanks to its ability to expand tremendously while retaining up to 90 percent of its weight for assured deep penetration. It’s efficacious at taking down nearer game thanks to its InterLock ring, which fights high velocity impact to ensure that it retains no less than half of its weight.
The ELD-X boasts the superior accuracy needed to hunt distant bucks as well. Its boat tail design and secant ogive profile both contribute to its high ballistic coefficient, and the latter additionally grants the bullet a lesser bearing surface. The ELD-X’s AMP jacket lends its great concentricity to the creation a flat trajectory, and its Heat Shield tip will not lose its pointed symmetry in response to aerodynamic heating. This round’s bullet is complemented splendidly by its high quality brass casing, consistent propellant’s performance, and sensitive primer. You’ll be pleased to have a whole case of this exciting ammo poised and ready to go for your upcoming hunts! -

These 200 rounds’ casings are all extremely uniform to one another, and accordingly carry consistent propellant charges and seat their bullets as flat as can be. Their primers are non-corrosive, and their propellant burns exceptionally cleanly as well, so firing a bunch of these rounds won’t cause your rifle’s ability to shoot straight to go south quickly. They’re these rounds’ bullets that make them truly exceptional, however.
The ELD Match always keeps a sharp and even meplat, no matter the temperature that aerodynamic heating cooks it to, because its Heat Shield tip won’t deform or otherwise warp when subjected to dramatic air friction. The ELD Match’s AMP jacket is virtually perfectly concentric, which combined with its uniformly dense core gives it the rotational stability indispensable for straight flight. The ELD Match further boasts an impressive ballistic coefficient, as its secant ogive geometry and narrow base create extremely drag in flight. With so much going for it, there’s little reason to wonder why match shooters so frequently favor the ELD Match. -

The 143 grain bullet features a Heat Shield tip which is virtually immutable by aerodynamic heating, so it will maintain its pointed shape even as it exits your muzzle at a velocity of 2,700 fps. Along with its tip this bullet’s boat tail design, highly concentric jacket, and secant ogive profile work together to create the extraordinarily flat trajectory you need for pinpoint accurate shots.
When this bullet strikes targets at higher velocities, its InterLock ring and thick jacket shank assure weight retention of up to 60 percent. At lower velocities, its polymer tip initiates violent yet controlled expansion along with deep penetration and up to 90 percent weight retention. Its tremendous versatility makes this the round to count on the next time you venture into big buck country. -

That’s high for a 130 grain 0.2644” bullet, and certain to supply the flat trajectory, great wind resistance and high degree of energy retention that long-range hunting demands.
The Terminal Ascent performs great at close range as well. Its bonded core and jacket stay tightly anchored to each other following high-velocity impact, so the bullet won’t tear itself to shreds before it can arrive at the deadliest depth within a deer. And because the Slipstream will initiate full terminal expansion at velocities 200 fps lower than other similar polymer tipped hunting bullets, you can test out your aim on truly distant trophies.
This ammo’s match grade Boxer primers and clean-burning propellant charges are housed in nickel-plated brass cases. They are reloadable, corrosion resistant and low-friction enough to provide noticeably smoother feeding.
