So, uh, I got back into Sky-

here are some Skykids I’ve made so far,

And yes I will post more when I get to it. I used to play Sky: CoTL daily from like mid-Rhythm to the end of Abyss but I redownloaded it a few days ago so I hope it doesn’t distract from important college stuff too bad. I’ve been in Fandom Limbo for a while now so this looks like it’ll be my next stop for the foreseeable future. Whoopsie!

Height chart except it's only the Swordmaster and the Spearmaster

(May not be fully accurate since 6'3"/6'4" is how tall the Swordmaster should be without heels. If this were accurate, the Swordmaster would be a smidge taller in this drawing.)

Height comparison of an average Wayfarer + Various skypeople and a spirit. One version is the original intention of how tall these characters are supposed to be compared to each other (so no consideration of specific heights), and the other is adjusted for real world heights.

I think it's really funny to think of Wayfarers as a megafauna species compared to the Ancestors and skypeople.

Some things may be subject to being adjusted, but I think any awkwardness I feel about these heights mainly comes from the skykids and my lack of memory for what the proportions of a 9-13 year old should look like.

Other note: I would have liked to include Mufo/Swordmaster, however that felt redundant because she's about as tall as Piripu/Spearmaster but an inch or two taller. With that in mind, this does mean Mufo grows up to be a six-foot-something freak that wears heels.

Odiwa's companion, Kucevoz, is also not pictured for similar reasons. Kucevoz is a similar height, but they are slightly shorter.

I need to see Wayfarers neck 👁👃👁

A tip for if you're itching to revisit the Alice in Wonderland Cafe in Sky, but don't have any one to bring you there: You can visit the cafe through door props placed in Shared Spaces.

When it comes to looking for such Shared Spaces, I might recommend flipping through a Shared Space Shrine until you find them, since making a SS at those shrines is free and more likely to draw in the folks who have the door prop.

At the time of writing, the shrine at the bottom of the Dye Workshop has yielded a decent number of results:

Also special shout out to this particular Shared Space, which looks like a real life door and has a functioning cafe door prop inside.

My personal concept of what Wayfarers (from hit TGC game Journey) look like under their cloaks. Canonically they have these funny undetailed legs, but for sake of incorporation into the Mufopiriverse™️, they get arms too.

Different individuals may have different upperbody clothing styles, but I remain pretty staunch on the pants, as to preserve some of the original shape language of Wayfarers as they are seen in-game (when you do see their legs). The same goes for the deep red coloration of the clothes, which are intended to blend into the shadows of the cape. This is hopefully not to distract from the Wayfarers' main features: their billowing cape, and the little feets they have poking out from under it.

If I had the time, I would also draw an Ancestor/Spirit (Sky:CotL) standing next to this Wayfarer. In older concepts of mine, a Wayfarer is a head taller than your average Spirit, though I may bump that up to two heads once I get around to drawing it.

I'm working on notes, but I feel like this drawing looks nice on its own, so here ✨️

Idk what possesses me when I do pen and ink shading fr, but whatever it is, it's 🔥

YEP!!! Better believe it! It's pen and ink done by hand. (Mainly restricted myself to an 01 and 03 pigma micron for this one)

Actually, quite a few of my pieces here are... and are even in the same sketchbook!

I kinda bounce around various traditional mediums a lot and dable in digital... art wise, but something about pen and ink keeps me coming back! I just find it relaxing in spite of it being time-consuming (although sometimes I'm pretty fast at it) and have to take frequent breaks to avoid hand cramps.

I also like that it can come off vibe wise as more... hauntingly beautiful? Idk, lol.

Sometimes, I will even scan my lineart and color it digitaly like I did with this.

Probably rambled a little more than what the question required, but I hope that answers things, ha!^^"

(Mainly restricted myself to an 01 and 03 pigma micron for this one)

That's funny. For my initial guesses of what was used to make this piece, dip pens were among my first (in fact, I don't remember how long it was since I last thought about Pigma Microns). I suppose both variety of pens are pointy and scratchy (though come to think of it metal nibs may tear up the paper w/ this level of stippling/cross-hatching (or maybe it just depends on the paper,))

The majority of pages on the Mufopiri Comics Collection have transcripts/descriptions now. These are intended for low-visioned readers, but may also be helpful for gleaning the meaning of pages when image download times are slow, or if my comics are a bit too esoteric to get the meaning of. Basically, these just describe what's happening on a page.

All chapters from "The Likers" and onward have page transcripts. "Candle Spell", "Scrapped Piri Cape Origins", "2024 Days of Style", and "Getting Ready for Days of Mischief" remain a work in progress.

Happy (re)reading!

(Also: Feedback on how these transcripts work out would be appreciated. I'm not looking to flex any writing skills, but I'd like to at least make sure the transcripts do their job of conveying what's happening in the comic while also not being too long.)

My personal guess as to what the 6th Sky anniversary head cosmetic will be.

(If you didn't know: each of the Sky anniversary hats have a number of stars in their design which correlate with how many years Sky has been out! So for example, last year was the 5th anniversary, and the cosmetic that year was a tiara with 5 stars on it.)
