Zoya and Juris from the Grishaverse series! I wanted to do an updated version of my painting from 2021 to see how much I've grown as an artist.
Assan from Dragon Age Veilguard! I’m still watching my way through the game, I like to have gameplays on while I paint, and I knew I had to draw this little guy
Cheza and the wolves.
As the year comes to a close I've been thinking about my art and my goals. One of which is to become more confident painting environments with subjects in it, so this setting inspired by the lullaby scene was perfect and a good excuse to include Blue with the group! While painting I also kept myself from using any layer modes until the end to make sure I was very intentional with my values and color palette choices
Morrigan! I'm late to the dragon age party but I've thoroughly been enjoying catching up with the games and stories. Wild that Veilguard is so close!
Getting back to my roots drawing wolves
Kiba!
Wolf's Rain was one of my first animes and its still my favorite to this day, surely because of some sentimental values, but also because I've come to appreciate it more as I've gotten older

throwback to the first time I painted my River dragon 2021!

Haku! Love to do a newer version of him, Spirited Away is one of my favorite Ghibli movies
I have a disproportionately loud mess of a head for no discernible reason* so it’s kind of a miracle that I spent the last month and some change willing myself to wield watercolor again. Witness the struggle! A long overdue color sketch for a (super patient) client.
Just watercolor with a boop of gouache.
