i love seeing posts that are like "we could've had Blang or Yake instead of Bumbleby if the RWBY fandom was less creative" cos it's like no

you don't understand

we had to be creative because those ships were made before the White Trailer

we didn't know anyone's name or what they looked like aside from Ruby - that's why the ship names were like that and why they became the general trend after volume 1 (Arkos and Renora got standard portmanteau ship names because of this, because we actually got their names with their characters, and it wasn't until volume 2 referenced the team RWBY ship names that it really took off i think)

Ruby: Social media is just talking to yourself, but with an audience!

Weiss: That’s called a soliloquy.

Yang: Found the theater kid! Get her, boys! 😆

Blake: How do YOU know what a soliloquy is unless YOU’RE a theater kid?! 🤔

I draw this red sack of flour so inconsistently even Ruby's shrugging.

This is my AU of Weiss and it is based on that one Knight Weiss i did way back but simplied this outfit more. Took away most of the armor and gauntlets. I was wary about most people not liking putting Weiss in pants so I stuck with the skirt. Shoes are not my specialty don't ask about it.. okay.. I might change it later. Here in this AU she is still a fencer and support just not in the summons per say but she can still use it if needed to (more likely for transportation).

Weiss is so deceptively emotionally aware and empathetic it needs to be recognized more. She was the one who first recognized when Blake was spiraling back in Beacon and called her out for it. She was the one who was there to be Yang's shoulder to cry on in Mistral and help her understand why Blake felt the need to leave. She was the one who saw how the way they treated Ruby was hurting her in the Ever After. The more you look for it the more you see it. Both on and off the battlefield Weiss is always the one there to support others sight unseen because she knows hurt and loneliness.
