Es ist unglaublich, was hier in Bezug auf Preise und zusätzliche Zuschläge abläuft. Wir haben auf der Oosterdam im Pinnacle Grill, einem kostenpflichtigen Restaurant, gegessen. Pro Person hat es 54 Dollar gekostet, was wir bereit waren zu bezahlen. Doch als wir die Speisekarte erhielten, wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass die Steaks zusätzlich zwischen 8 und 25 Dollar kosten! Ein Glas Weißwein (1 dl) kostete weitere 25 Dollar. Im bedienten Standardrestaurant kostet ein Filet mit Lobster zusätzlich 20 Dollar, was außerhalb der normalen Speisekarte noch akzeptabel ist. Aber die Preisgestaltung im Pinnacle Grill ist schlichtweg Abzocke – ich war sprachlos und extrem enttäuscht! Tipp: Überlegt euch gut, ob eine solche Preisgestaltung gerechtfertigt ist. Wir werden diese Reederei definitiv nie wieder buchen. It is unbelievable what is happening here in terms of prices and additional charges. We dined at the Pinnacle Grill, a specialty restaurant on the Oosterdam. The cost was $54 per person, which we were willing to pay. However, when we received the menu, we were informed that the steaks would cost an additional $8 to $25! On top of that, a glass of white wine (1 dl) was an extra $25. In the main dining room, a filet with lobster costs an additional $20, which is acceptable as it is outside the regular menu. But the pricing at the Pinnacle Grill is pure rip-off – I was speechless. Tip: Think carefully about whether such pricing is justified. We will never book with this cruise line again.

My recent trip with Cruise Port Connections was incredibly smooth and comfortable! The Blue bus was easy to spot and was clean and well-maintained. The driver Norman was friendly and courteous, and the departure and arrival times were precisely on schedule. I have used Wi-Fi and charging ports and especially appreciated watching on board movies, which made the long journey much more enjoyable. I would recommend Cruise Port Connection to anyone looking for reliable and comfortable bus travel.

There are some great things about this cruise- a small boat, very courteous staff and good access since the company is owned by a local family and been in business for some time. But it’s not an international company with commensurate level of responsibility and customer care on the corporate level. You feel that as soon as something goes wrong on the ground. The cabin I was assigned had plumbing issues that should have been inspected and addressed prior to departure. The result was noise some odors the crew tried to mitigate but couldn’t. At one point they used mold treatment ( which was itself an inappropriate response to plumbing issues) that caused a rash on my body ( I am allergic to clorox). Apparently they had not been informed of my allergy despite it clearly being stated on my application form. The end result was that I slept in the common area instead of my own room for 2 nights, and the corporate office refused any responsibility or even a token compensation. But this wasn’t the worst experience on a quasar cruise one could have. What tourists don’t know is that there is a lot of rotation among staff. The tour before ours had completely different staff, for instance. They missed a client literally drowning while snorkelling until she had swallowed so much water her oxygen levels went to 60 ( from typical 90s). She had to be evacuated to Quito and then hospitalised.

I recently went on a cruise with BSL Cruises Ltd., and it was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we boarded, the staff made us feel like royalty. The ship was immaculate, with luxurious amenities and plenty of activities to keep us entertained. The dining experience was fantastic – every meal was delicious, and the variety was impressive. There were always options, from casual snacks to gourmet dinners. The excursions were well-organized, allowing us to explore beautiful destinations while feeling safe and well taken care of. What stood out the most, though, was the outstanding customer service. Any questions or requests we had were handled promptly and with a smile. It’s clear that BSL Cruises values their passengers and strives to make every trip memorable. I would highly recommend BSL Cruises to anyone looking for a high-quality, enjoyable cruise experience. I’m already planning my next adventure with them!

Alain at Seek Sail was always available to answer any questions and guided us through the boat rental process making it seem an easy task. His offering of captain resumes were so useful and we picked a perfect Captain in Josko Elezovic!

This was a very relaxing trip! Crew who knew exactly what they were doing and also provided food and drinks. We will definitely do this again! Lovely private anyway with family friends

I haven't been on any cruise yet, just booked it, but I can see that the support you get after paying is rubbish . To start with, they seem to be clueless about the off shore day trips you can book. Calling them takes you nowhere, they provide no useful information. It's almost as if they don't want to sell you anything. But what's got me worried is that I paid the deposit and they gave me a date to pay the rest. Only a few hours later, they send me an email saying that I have 48h to pay the full amount. This is a really sneaky move and I haven't been able to sort it out yet. Right now i have no confidence in this company and even if I clarify the above, I don't think I will ever book anything else with them.

American Queen Voyages (AQV), Upper Mississippi River Cruise, July 19 to July 26, 2022, "Discover the mighty Mississippi on the river's most authentic paddle wheeler" sounded like a bucket list dream come true. But unfortunately, there was nothing in the literature about the paddle boat being pushed down the mighty Mississippi River by a tug boat or the "Z" drive impacting ports not visited. The bright spots of this trip were the excellent cabin stewards, bartenders, servers, RiverLorean, and especially the entertaining singers and bands. If you are in a wheelchair or use a walker, when the wait staff in the main dining area shove you in a corner and you become "invisible", there is a lovely River Grill upstairs where you will be greeted, accepted, and treated kindly. The food is the same. Purchase your travel insurance from someone other than the AQV-recommended Arch RoamRight. While it advertises, "Reimbursement for the unused, non-refundable trip costs and delays", missed ports are not covered. For example, "Mark Twain's Mississippi River Cruise" ports did NOT include "Mark Twain's Hannibal", "Sherman's Galen", "Winona Activities", "Bettendorf's Quad Cities," OR"Alton's adventurist's oasis with limestone bluffs". The ports visited were Red Wing, La Crosse, Dubuque, and Burlington. At our "Farewell" Cocktail hour, it seemed the boat officers thought all the issues were something to joke about because "so many problems had happened, but the passengers had survived". Ultimately, I was threadbare with this cruise's issues despite being repeatedly informed that everything was done for our benefit and safety. However, they did send us home with Covid as a parting gift. It is six months later. I am still angry and disappointed when I see the great advertisements in AAA, AARP, and other magazines. When you step on the boat, their obligations are complete, and your disappointments are regrets to get over. There will be no apologies or monetary compensation.
