Video-based probe. (new products).

ISHOT IMAGING, FLANDERS, N.J. The InnerView 330 video-based probe fits through 8.4mm access openings to perform high-resolution visual inspections. Its sealed tip articulates four ways, illuminates targets circumferentially, and accepts any of eight interchangeable viewing adaptors. The imaging performance is obtained by a 1/6-in. Super-HAD CCD imager that grabs color footage at S-video resolution (500 horizontal lines). For optimum results, shutter speed adjusts automatically from 1/60 to 1/10,000 second to compensate for ambient lighting conditions. The flexible probe shaft comes in 10-. 15-, 20-, 25-, 30-, and 60-ft. lengths. The shaft tolerates water and a wide range of industrial chemicals as well as temperatures as high as 176[degrees]F.
