Donkey Kong (SSB)/Forward aerial

Overview[edit]
Donkey Kong does a front flip with his fists clasped together, smashing them into opponents. The move is a powerful meteor smash if DK hits his opponent with his hand while his arms deal powerful horizontal knockback. This move inspired Donkey Kong's air attack in Donkey Kong 64. These traits give the move solid combo and KO potential. The move also has an extremely lenient initial auto-cancel window which outlasts its hitboxes. Because of this, the move will only enter landing lag during frames 20-35 of the move; removing the need to Z-cancel it if DK decides to use it near the ground. The move does not have a lot of landing lag either so even if DK does not auto-cancel or Z-cancel the move, he will not be at a huge disadvantage.
