Intelligibility in Oral Technical CommunicationThe following points are to be taken into consideration in order to make technical communication in oral form intelligible1. Consider the objective. 2. Be confident.

Technical communication is a vital part of any organization. Written documents serve as records, therefore great care and serious effort is required to make them intelligible.
The following points are to be considered1.A well defined objective should be there. 2.Use simple and exact words. 3.Be precise and clear.
8. Be objective. 9. Check spellings. 10.Make sure that the information is complete. 11.Revise the draft thoroughly to avoid mistakes.
Professional Speaking refers to the communication that takes place in the professional world. Technical communication involves transfer of information without any personal distortion.
The following points are to be kept in mind in order to maintain objectivity in professional situations-

Be factual
Information should be transferred without distortion.
Avoid hasty generalizations When conclusions are based on selected and biased data. Use superlatives and words like all and none , right and wrong , never and always , true and untrue should be used with caution. e.g.- 1.All Americans are rich. 2.Men are always better cooks than women.
Avoid gender biased languageOne should avoid sexist language in order to be objective. Use plural subjects instead of singular and avoid using words referring to a particular gender. e.g.-chairman - chairperson policeman - police personnel fireman - firefighter
Do not refer to irrelevant differencesReference to irrelevant differences based on caste, religion, region etc. should be avoided. e.g.- a female journalist, male scientists, black activists, Hindi teacher etc.
Avoid racist languageIn order to achieve objectivity in professional speaking one should avoid language referring to particular race of people. It may hurt people. A professional should reflect an attitude that does not hurt anyone.
