Equipment Criticality Ranking
Equipment Criticality Ranking
Equipment Criticality Ranking
Purpose
To prioritize assets accordingly based on the factors:
Product/Utility/Facility importance Equipment availability Length of impact Alternative options Ease of repair
ECRT Calculations
Each category is weighted as follows:
20% - Product / Utility / Facility Importance 20% - Equipment Availability to Maintenance 20% - Work Center Impact including: Constrained Work Centers (Bottleneck) 10% Length of Impact 10% 20% - Alternative Options including: Additional Manpower 6.7% Alternative Routing 6.7% Spare Availability 6.7% 20% - Ease of Repair including: Replaceability 6.7% Replacement Value 6.7% Maintenance Costs 6.7%
ECRT Thresholds
Minimum Thresholds (minimum required ranking) have been established to insure that the Equipment Criticality Ranking is not too low based on Safety, Environmental or Quality risks. When the Threshold Applies:
If the initial criticality ranking is greater than the threshold, the greater number will apply. If the initial criticality ranking is less than the threshold, the final criticality ranking will default to the threshold limit.
