    What is

    Independence?
    Independence is the great gift of God.
    It enables people to live life as per
    their choice. Independence is the
    freedom in your life from unnecessary
    restrictions. When you are
    independent you can perform your
    religious activities
    You can celebrate your religious
    events freely, you can freely move
    from one place to another, you have
    a right to speak your opinion, no
    restrictions in your culture, and
    education
    What Happened on
    14th August?
    On 14th August 1947, Pakistan
    became an independent country.
    This means we have our land, flag,
    and identity. It's a very special day
    for all Pakistanis!
    Who is Quaid-e-
    Azam?

    Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali


    Jinnah is the founder of Pakistan.
    He worked very hard so that we
    could have our own country. We
    call him the 'Father of the
    Nation'.
    Cultural Dress

    • In Pakistan, people wear beautiful


    traditional clothes. Boys often wear
    shalwar kameez, and girls wear
    colorful dresses. On Independence
    Day, many people dress in green
    and white!
    Traditional Food

    Pakistan has delicious food! On 14th


    August, families enjoy special treats like
    biryani, kebabs, and sweets. Sharing food
    is a big part of our celebrations.
    The National Flower

    The Jasmine is Pakistan's national


    flower. It's white and smells lovely.
    National Language

    The national language of Pakistan is


    Urdu. It’s the language that most
    people speak and understand across
    the country.
