AIM OF THE STUDY
This project aims to develop a steganographic
system for embedding textual messages into JPEG
images, ensuring covert transmission of
information while maintaining the visual integrity
of the images. This project also comprehends the
following objectives

OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY

The objectives of the study are to:
i. Design a steganographic framework to
encode and decode messages.
ii. Develop an algorithm for encrypting from
being viewed by third party.
iii. Implement the algorithm developed in (ii).
RESULT
Testing is the process of evaluating a system or its
component(s) with the intent to find whether it satisfies
the specified requirements or not. In simple words, testing
is executing a system in order to identify any gaps, errors,
or missing requirements in contrary to the actual
requirements. A primary purpose of testing is to detect
software failures so that defects may be discovered and
corrected. Other purposes may include, validating and
verifying that a computer program end result meets the
business and user requirements that guided its design
and development and work as expected.

In this study, system testing is carried out with several

test cases, the testing of the system was duly carried out
and the test result obtained is shown in the next slide.

CONCLUSIONS
In conclusion, this study presents a solution to the
significant challenge of secure text transmission
through images by advancing steganographic
techniques that offer both robustness and subtlety. The
research demonstrates that by carefully balancing
embedding capacity with image quality, it is possible to
achieve a high level of data concealment without
compromising the aesthetic or structural integrity of the
cover image. Through a systematic approach involving
the study of image processing principles, selection of
suitable algorithms, and rigorous testing, the project
has developed a system capable of embedding text in
images in a way that minimizes detection risk. This
approach proves particularly beneficial for applications
where privacy is paramount, as it provides an additional
layer of security by concealing the very existence of the
message within ordinary-looking images.
RECOMMENDATIONS
Based on the findings of this study, several
recommendations can be made for future research and
applications in the field of steganography.
i. Integrating real-time feedback mechanisms within
the system may allow users to better control the
balance between embedding capacity and image
quality, particularly in applications where message
size may vary.
ii. Future research should also consider expanding the
system's capability to accommodate different types
of data beyond text, such as audio or video, which
would broaden the application of steganographic
techniques across various media. Testing on diverse
image formats and conducting evaluations in real-
world conditions would provide more insight into
the effectiveness and resilience of the system.
