Introduction
Celebrating 18th birthday for females in the Philippines is a very special event
every family looks forward to. They try to make it memorable and something
the debutante will treasure for the rest of her life.
A very good afternoon to each and everyone and welcome Ehrika Mae’s
Debut Party. We would like to thank everyone for gracing this very
momentous occasion because as they say, you only get to be 18 once.

Family and Friends, once again a pleasant afternoon.
Entrance of the Family
Without them, her life would be empty and unhappy. Let us all give a big round of applause
to honor all the people whom she truly loved. Sabi nga, marami tayong mahahanap na
kapuso, pero iisa lang ang ating kapamilya.
I would like to present to you the key persons who took a great part in making this joyous
affair possible. Ladies and gentlemen, it is with great pleasure that I introduce to you the
FAMILY of our lovely debutante. A big round of applause please. Thank you very much.

Ehrika, reaching 18 will mean that you will now be a part of the society
with civil responsibility. To welcome you in the society, may I call in the
Hon. _____________________, our punong barangay.
Grand Entrance of the Debutant
Tonight calls for a grand celebration and it is my distinct pleasure to introduce to you for
the very first time, the reason why we are all gathered here tonight, ladies and gentlemen.
So without further ado, let us all rise be captivated, be mesmerized and give a warm
round of applause, would you please welcome, our lovely debutante, Ms. Ehrika Mae
Vasquez Bansagales.
The "debutante", as she is called, is a French word meaning a "female beginner",

an adult now, who is being prepared to be introduced into society and into a world
of civic responsibility and social awareness. Originally, she is being exposed due to
her legal age that she will be eligible for marriage and to be formally introduced to
all eligible bachelors as well. That's why this event is also called as the "coming out
party".
18 Gifts
Gifts symbolize ever flowing love, caring and admiration. Friends, the 18
symbolic gifts.
To offer the 18 Symbolic Gifts, let us call in the following:
18 CANDLES
The 18 candles signify the 18 women that will be her guiding light in her journey
towards fulfilling her dreams. Ladies and gentlemen, the 18 candles.
Mikai, it is now your turn to blow your candles, while all your guests are
singing the happy birthday song to you.
But before you do that, you need to have your wish first.
SLICING OF THE CAKE.
It is now time to cut the cake. As Ehrika has reached the age of maturity, she will
now cut the cake and give a portion to her parents as a symbol of her love and
gratefulness to them.
Dinner
We will cut first our program for it is time for us to partake the sumptuous dinner
prepared for us by the Ehrika’s family. But before that, may I call in, Ms. Janet
Vasquez Iriola for the blessing of the Food.
Photo Opportunity
I will be calling table by table so you can have a photo opportunity with our
debutant, and also Ehrika will have souvenir photo with you.
Dinner
Please fall in line properly to our food station. All of you will be accommodated.
Enjoy your meal.
18 ROSES
The 18 roses signify the debutante’s coming of age. We have now come to
the part of our program that the guys have been waiting for. A chance to
hold the hand of our lovely debutante for a short dance... and then maybe...
a kiss... so let us not keep them waiting. Ladies and gentlemen, the 18
roses participants with our beautiful debutante.
PARENT’S MESSAGE
At this moment, I know that they are all feeling mixed emotions today
because of this celebration, to release some, let us call Mr. Rodel
Bansagales the debutante’s father for a message.
Bills are important gifts to our debutante, as she reach 18, her wants and
desires change, these bills will give you the opportunity to buy all of your
needs.
18 Blue BILLS
You are now on legal age to manage your financial account, you can open a
bank account, so the people you loved want to teach you to be financially
responsible,….and to give you the these 18 Blue BILLS may I call the
following persons..
Shots
Wine, sometimes, or always part of the occasions, as you reach the legal
age, you will be invited to attend parties, such as your occasion today. Now
is your first taste of wine & and lets us have also a shot of goodluck. Let us
have a toast. Cheers!!!!
DEBUTANTE’S MESSAGE
And now a word from our lovely debutante, Ehrika Mae Vasquez
Bansagales.
And with that our program has officially concluded.
We would like to thank everyone who have made this
momentous night a success. We would like to thank
you all for making it to this wonderful celebration of
Mikai’s 18th birthday. For those who are going
home, may God bless you. Be safe everyone. And
for those who are staying, the night is young and the
floor is now open for dancing.
