FAYE’S 18TH BIRTHDAY

Good afternoon to all. Welcome to Repiedad’s Compound here in Linabuan Norte, Kalibo,
Aklan. May I request everyone to settle down because we are about to begin Faye’s 18th
Birthday Party Celebration, so please find your seats and make yourselves comfortable and
enjoy the rest of the afternoon.
A very good and blessed afternoon to each and everyone and welcome to Faye’s Debut Party.
We would like to thank everyone for gracing this very momentous occasion because as they
say, you only get to be 18 once.This is a celebration of her life and what’s to come. This is quite
a very important event in her life and she is very delighted that you are able join her as she
celebrates this momentous day. Ladies and gentlemen, sit back as we chill, jive, and enjoy the
party this afternoon.
I. To start the program, may I ask everybody to please stand for the Lord’s Moment for our
guidance and blessings to be led by Mrs. Analyn R. Meñez.
II. Thank you. You may now take your seats. Welcome again to the PARTY of our charming
debutant who is now turning into a fine lady. This is quite a very important event in her life
and she is very much honor for your presence. Likewise, your presence is highly appreciated
by the proud and equally supportive and loving parents – Joy and Franz, and so to welcome
you all – let’s give a resounding applause to Mrs. Joy D. Repiedad – the other of our debutant.
III. And now…guests, friends, ladies and gentlemen, let us all stand as we welcome the
debutant as a woman of grandeur, now hot and legal… escorted by, no other than, the loving
and very caring father-Mr. Franz L. Repiedad, let’s give a big round of applause to Miss Felicity
Anne Depablo-Repiedad.
IV. What is the essence of this celebration without further knowing some of the important
information of our debutant? Who is Felicity Anne in the real sense of the word? Of course
aside from being a kind and responsible daughter, sister, cousin, friend, or classmate, maybe
there are things that some people know but not known to others. Let us find out some quirky,
trivial and even personal information coming from Ms. Liahne Kate A. Mallari – her
_________, let’s clap our hands together.
V. Well well well Faye we have just unleased all private information – well, in becoming
matured and even more responsible, you must face all your alter ego. And to help you with
that, now, ladies and gentlemen without further adieu, let us now welcome the people who
are willing to share with you wishes, promises and good fortune.
VI. 18 BALLOONS
Balloons have many metaphorical meanings. Balloons can be used to describe both
holding on and letting go or freedom. And to represent Faye’s Circle of Important People of
her Life, let us welcome the following persons who will hold on and will never let her go as
they share their wishes for Faye to let go with her undesirable traits – as requested - for her to
achieve success in life. Please come in front as I call your names.
VII. 18 Candles
Ladies and gentlemen, let us now proceed to the 18 candles, signifying the 18 women
that will be her guiding light in her journey towards fulfilling her own dreams. And to
represent Faye’s Circle of Important People of her Life, let us welcome the following persons
who will share their wishes and light the candle for her. Of course, these people will be the
ones who will give her advices and kind words along the way on how to become a woman of
beauty with a heart. Please come as I call your names.
VIII. 18 Cupcakes
Next we have the 18 cupcakes, sharing with the 18 people the sweetest times spent
with the debutante a la tell-all manner. The debutante may eat the cupcakes one by one or
share with them perhaps after the program. Get your cupcakes and give your sweet wishes

IX. 18 Gifts
The 18 gifts are things the debutante could use on a daily basis—somewhere she can
document her days, share her dreams, count her blessings, and relive her best adventures and
these will be made possible by the following persons:

X. Let us pause for a moment as we now partake the food while we continue with our
program. May I call in Miss Lucia M. David to grace over the food.

XI. 18 Treasures
Treasures symbolize things that the debutante needs to succeed toward womanhood.
The treasures are intended to be valued and cherished for the rest of her life. As Faye
celebrates the beginning of womanhood, she will need tools that either help her in the future,
encourage her in the present, or give her something fond to look back on. These “treasures”
represent the friendship and respect between the giver and the debutante, because they
indicate how well they know each other and their wishes are meant to be taken seriously.
XII. 18 Bills
18 bills. Or, 18 blue bills to be exact. Bills symbolize financial stability and independence.

XIII. 18 Roses
Roses symbolize love. Love which Faye has for her family and all the people in her life.
Rose also represents a girl’s readiness in the area of romance. It also symbolizes something
that is both beautiful and “thorny”. Our debutant will be offered this flower as they represent
the protectors and knights in shining armor of Faye. Let us begin with…(see program-identify
relationship)..last is the father
After a very heartwarming dance from the father and daughter, let us have a little break by an
intermission number to be given to us by Mr. Bill Ian T. Abayon..around of applause
 This time, let us call our debutant to blow her candles while we sing happy birthday,
then slicing of the cake with the parents will follow.
XIV. 18 Shots
The wine symbolizes commitment and triumph. Faye is considered victorious because
she is able to reach the debutant age and it is a great time for this kind of celebration. To toast
with her the wine for a long lasting victory of her life, let us all call in the following special
persons who are in one way or another became a part of her life through thick and thin, ups
and downs, right and wrong andsometimes good and bad times of life.
Once again, Faye’s Family and friends to be with here for the wine toast.
XV. What a very meaningful evening indeed for Faye. And it becomes more meaningful with all
of you. To officially confirm the heat and legality of this party, at para na rin mapanakinggan
natin ang sweet girl which turns into a woman today…let us hear the speech to be given of
course by our lovely debutante…no other than…Miss Felicity Anne Depablo Repiedad!
XVI. Faye and her family would like to thank everyone for gracing us with your presence. This
celebration will not be possible without the help of her loving and dedicated parents, families,
and friends. So to show the family’s gratitude of your presence, they will be distributing a
simple token just for you. What you will be receiving is just a symbol of her gratitude and
enlightenment for yourpresence on her 18th birthday while the proud and equally beautiful
mother will give her Words of Thanks.
