Introduction
Epidermis:
● outermost layer of skin
● provides skin colour, formation of
new skin cells (via melanin)
Dermis:
● middle layer
● regulates body temperature
through sweat gland activity
● produces collagen

Hypodermis:

• Innermost layer
• Acts as a shock absorber for bones

• Serums are defined as concentrated product that contains ten times more organic matter than
cream

❖ In summary, creating and analyzing a vitamin C serum enriched with kojic acid and green

tea extract results in a versatile skincare product.

❖ This combination of active ingredients offers numerous advantages, including skin

properties.
