Andhra Pradesh
Sankranti also called ‘Makar
Sankranti’ is a festival celebrating
the beginning of the harvesting
season in India .It is celebrated
almost all over the country,
especially in Tamil Nadu , Andhra
Pradesh,Karnataka,and Maharashtra.
Assam
Bihu Festival is the famous
Festival of Assam .The most
significant and important of all
the cultural of
Rangoli,Mogh,and Kati
Bihu,this celebration brings the
people of Assam togrther ,
irrespective of caste, religion,
creed, gender, or race.
Bihar
CHHATH PUJA is the famous
and main festival of Bihar . Bihar
is an ancient land having deep
roots in religion. Folks in bihar,
being spiritually inclined,
celebrate many festival to
worship god. CHHATH PUJA is
the only vedic festival that is
dedicated to the sun god.

Goans have a perticular fondness
for performing arts. A beautiful
blend of India and western dance
forms, Goan dances include
Fugdi,Dhalo, and the Kunbi that
date back to the Portuguese era in
Goa. The folk dances and music in
the state are performed for both
religious festivals and cheerful
events.
GUJRAT
Gujarat is a flourishing state with
cultural diversity. It is vibrant
with its true colors of rich heritage
and cultural traditions. Dating
back to history with the Harappan
civilization, the state becomes a
confluence of many religion –
Hinduism, Islam,Jainism and
Buddhism.
HIMACHAL PRADESH
Kullu Dussehra is the most famous
festival of Himachal Pradesh
which is celebrated in the month
of october with great enthusiasm
and fervor. Celebrated in Dhaulpur
Maidan , the entire Kullu valley
reverberates in the festive spirit for
an entire week as the festivity of
Dussehra spans here up to 7 long
days.
TAMIL NADU
Pongal is the most
famous festival in Tamil
Nadu. It is the harvest
festival that lasts for
four days and is
celebrated in the middle
of January.
MIZORAM
The Mim Kut festival like most
festival includes, tradition
singing, dancing, playing
musical instruments and proud
display of culture.Pawl Kut is
the greatest of all the festivals
celebrated in the state of
Mizoram. Once all the harvests
are over, this Harrvest Festival is
celebrated with great fun.
NAGALAND
The Hornbill Festival is also
called the ‘festival of festivals’,
because of its grandness and
festive charm. The festival was
first organised by the
Government of Nagaland in the
year 2000 to encourage inter-
tribal interactions. Since then it
has been held for seven days
from December 1 to December 7
every year.
