About the Company -

Namaste India Foundation is a non – profit organization (NGO) and it aims to create the
wonders of India in collaboration with partner organization throughout the world and
promote art , culture , quality education and more values among Indians.
It has its different teams and the most effective team is the Content writing department and
the HR department .
We are committed to feature the 1 million inspirational stories by the year 2030. Our
‘Namaste India Awards’ are awarded to people from diverse backgrounds including
educators , entrepreneurs , social activist , authors , doctors , lawyers , actors , artists ,
scientists , writers , journalists , key note speakers and more .

PROJECT -

• HR plays an important role in the


development of organization as the
performance of the company
depends upon how efficiently we use
it in any organization.
• Recruiting people with expertise
skills , knowledge , qualifications and
experiences to understand the
requirement of the company.
• It is a detailed process of sourcing ,
screening , and selecting the right
candidate for the company.
Role of HR in team building and in
Recruitment and Selection -

• Role of HR is the vital role of an organization and without HR no organization can


grow. HR is the most commonly associated with team building. They are the one
who onboard new team members and ensure that everyone has ongoing support.
• Team building assists groups in balancing the fine core elements of a healthy team .
• Recruitment is a key and responsibility of the HR departments .
• One of the key areas of focus of HR is to attract , select and onboard suitable
candidates for the organizations.

TASKS HANDLED DURING INTERNSHIP -
I was responsible for handling Content Writing Department , but also used to manage and
conduct meetings for other effective teams of the company with time which includes –
Social Media Marketing , Graphics Designing , HR .
• Daily assigning of tasks
• Maintaining attendance records in Excel sheets
• Monitoring of team’s Performance Evaluation Reports
• Hiring of new Interns for the company
• Conducting the orientation program for new interns in Google meet or Skype.
• Evaluation of daily reports by team members (interns)
• Reporting the daily activities of all the interns to the Administrators .
CHALLENGES FACED -

• Faced the major challenge in handling team members.


• Faced issues while hiring new candidates.
• Team conflictions.
• Faking of documents .
• Selected candidates failed to join .
OVERCOME OF CHALLENGES FACED-

• Speaking to each members of the team and found solutions accordingly .


• For hiring of candidates after viewing their CV’s , gave assignments to all the
selected candidates in Word format to check their genuine skills on MS –
Word and the JD .
• For confliction of teams listened to both the parties and after consulting
with my industry mentor came up with every possible solutions.
LEARNING ACHIEVED DURING THE
INTERNSHIP / CONCLUSION -
• Learnt about leadership qualities.
• The importance of skills , designation of candidates , identification of technical and non-technical
works .
• How to take interviews on telephonic , Skype , Google meet etc all the virtual modes.
• Learnt about different mindsets.
• In the 8 weeks of Internship I grew so much professionally .
• Recruiting and bringing candidates onboards is not an easy task , here I learnt how much
responsibility it demands .
• Challenging myself every moment in this internship helped me a lot to get out of my comfort zone.
• Handled different tasks at different times , and understood the actual stress environment and learnt
to handle it with positivity and ease.
RECOMMENDATION FOR THE
ORGANIZATION -

• Company can boost its employees by adding all kind of Performance


Appraisals except all the awards.
• The senior administrator needs to listen to employees problems and rich
them when required.
• Be much more particular with the JD’s in the job portals.
