    Download and Installation:
     Visit the official SketchUp website (https://www.sketchup.com/).
     Click "Download" and choose the desktop version you want (SketchUp Make or SketchUp Pro).
     Follow the download and installation instructions depending on your operating system (Windows or macOS).

    Create an Account (optional):


     Open SketchUp after installation.
     If you don't have an account, you can create one by clicking "Sign In" and selecting "Create Account." If you
    already have an account, log in.

    License Activation (Only for SketchUp Pro):


     If you have opted for SketchUp Pro, you will need to activate your license. Click "Help" and select "License."
     Enter your license information to activate the software.

    Start Designing:
     Once activated, you'll be ready to start designing in SketchUp desktop.
     Explore the tools, menus, and palettes to familiarize yourself with the interface.

    • Open your preferred web browser (Google Chrome is recommended for a better experience).
    • Visit the SketchUp Free website: https://app.sketchup.com/app.
    • If you don't have an account, you can create one by clicking "Login" and selecting "Create Account.“

    Create or Open a Project:
    • After logging in, you'll be able to create a new project or open an existing one from the cloud.
    • Click on "New Project" to start a design from scratch.
    Design in the Web Version:
    Use the tools and menus available in the web interface to create your 3D model.
    Automatically save your work to the SketchUp cloud.

    Drawing Area

    The drawing area in SketchUp is a three-dimensional space where users create and
    manipulate their 3D models. The primary feature in this space is the three axes: red (X),
    green (Y), and blue (Z). These axes are crucial for orientation and measurement within the
    model.

    X-Axis (Red): Extends horizontally from left to right. Positive values move along the
    axis to the right, while negative values move to the left.

    Y-Axis (Blue): Extends vertically from the bottom to the top. Positive values move
    along the axis upward, while negative values move downward.

    Z-Axis (Green): Extends into and out of the screen. Positive values move along the
    axis toward the viewer, while negative values move away.

    1. Select Tool (Arrow): The primary tool for selecting


    and manipulating entities in your model
    2. Line Tool: Creates straight edges or segments.
    3. Rectangle Tool: Draws rectangles or squares.

    5. Arc Tool: Draws arcs.
    6. Push/Pull Tool: Extrudes or pushes and pulls
    surfaces to create 3D shapes.
    7. Eraser Tool: Erases edges and surfaces.
