Ruskin bond
Ruskin bond was born on 19th may 1934 in kasauli .
soon after , he was sent to study and live at a boarding school at
mussoorie . He completed his graduation from bishop cotton
school in Shimla , himachel Pradesh in 1950 . Then he started
writing stories and rapidly became famous . He is well known as
an indian author of british descendent because of his English . His
occupation is poet and an author . He got inspiration for his
stories from the life in hill stations at the foothills of Himalayas
and his maximum stories is set in that background . Some of his
famous works include ‘ the blue umbrella’ , ‘ gallery of
rascals’ and ‘ the room on the roof’
Mark twain
Mark twain was born on 30th November 1835, in florida Missouri,
Samuel Langhorne Clemens wrote under the pen name mark
twain and went on to pen several novels , including two major
classics of American literature , ‘ the adventures of tom sawyer’
and ‘ the adventures of huckleberry finn ’ . He was also a
riverboat pilot , journalist, lecturer,entrepenaur and inventor.
Twain died on 21st april,1910, in redding conecticut.

Rabindranath tagore was a great indian poet. He was
Born at jorasanka, Kolkata on 7th may 1861. his fathers
Name was devendranath tagore. His mothers name was
Sarala devi. He started writing poems from his childhood.
Rabindranath wrote many poems, short stories, essays,
Dramas, novels and songs. He was also a great composer.
He composed the national anthem of our country, jana gana
Mana. His important works are gitanjali, short works of
Rabindranath tagore, the home coming and kabuliwala. He
The first indian to win the noble prize in 1913 for ‘ gitanjali’.
He died on 7th august 1941.
Bankim Chandra chatterjee
Bankim Chandra Chatterjee was born in kanthalpara
Near naihati in north 24-parganas on 28th june 1838.
Jadav Chandra Chatterjee was his father, bankim
Chandra Chatterjee was his third son. Bankim Chandra
Chatterjee did his early studies from collegiate school
In midnapore and then at hoogly mohsin college.
Some famous books written by him are andamath,
Kapalkundala and durgeshnandini. Bankim Chandra
Chatterjee is the writer of ‘ vande matram’. The national
Song of india. He died on 8th april 1894.
