The Problem
Learners must then keep track of and self-
regulate their progress in online learning by
creating a learning timetable to ensure that they
complete all of the lessons. According to Chang's
(2013) research, students who used self-monitoring
performed better academically than those who did
not a basic command of the English language.
Theoretical Framework

This study is anchor on Self-Efficacy theory since this

theory aims to determine the efficacy of students on online
learning and to demonstrate their perceptions of both positive
and negative aspects of their online learning experience. Self
efficacy is one of the strongest motivators of how well a
students will perform in practically any endeavour, along
with the objectives that people establish for themselves. Their
effort, tenacity, strategizing, and future training and work
success are all strongly influenced by their self-efficacy.
Conceptual Framework
The conceptual framework shown in this study is a
schematic diagram showing the specific direction by which
the research will have to be undertaken.

Student Self efficacy Online Learning Assessment

Statement of the Problem
This study will determine the students’ efficacy on online learning
assessment in English in the tertiary level learning evaluation for the School
year, 2021-2022. Explicitly, this study will answer the following questions:
1. What is the students’ efficacy in online learning of the BSEd English
College students in the classroom that utilizes learning evaluation based on:
(1) Learning in the online environment
(2) Time management, and
(3) Technology use.
2. Is there a significant relationship between students’ Self-efficacy and
online learning assessment?
Scope and Limitation

This study focuses on the Students’

Efficacy on Online Learning Assessment in
English, Student-Teacher Education. The data
collection will be conducted on 37 students
currently taking Bachelor of Secondary
Education Major in English, specifically the 2 nd
year students S/Y 2021-2022 who will
represent the population.
Significance of the Study
This research will provide new insights into the importance of self-efficacy on online learning assessment in English. Specifically, this research will benefit the following:
Institution. This study spreads awareness to the institution about the effectiveness of online learning and provides a clear vision about the student's efficacy.
Researchers. It allows the researchers to broaden their perspective about the student’s efficacy on online learning. It will help them identify a better solution to this problem
and will then be benefit by the institution, teachers, researchers, and students.
Students. It will draw a better perspective to the students about the effectiveness of online learning and will expand their views about students’ efficacy.
Teachers. It helps the teachers to improve their teaching strategies and will provide them a better understanding as to what the learner’s needs.
Main Literature and Studies
Self-efficacy refers to people's confidence in their capacity to perform in
various conditions. It is a multilayered and multifaceted system of ideas that
affect how people feel, think, motivate themselves, and behave when
performing various tasks. Enactive attainment, vicarious experience, imaginal
experiences, and social persuasion, as well as physical and emotional states, all
influence self-efficacy beliefs. To generate actual performance, these beliefs
are mediated by cognitive, motivational, affective, and selection processes. The
growth of self-efficacy is directly linked to a person's experiences,
competencies, and developmental tasks in various areas at various periods of
life (Tsang 2012)
 The world of learning and teaching is at a
crossroads, with prior educational methods
being challenged. Impactful, purposeful,
active online activities, or 'eactivitiess,' are
one way to keep learners engaged, motivated,
and involved in the future of learning
(Routledge 2013)
 In recent years, online learning has risen at an exponential rate;
nonetheless, for some online programs, the dropout problem remains a
challenge. The dropout problem can be ascribed to a variety of factors,
one of which is a lack of engagement between students and instructors.
Learners may feel isolated as a result of the lack of interaction. Learners
can benefit from learning communities because they provide an
environment that encourages more contact and reduces feelings of
isolation. Unfortunately, there are no clear guidelines for instructors to
follow in order to assist students in forming learning communities.

Research Methodology

Research Design
This study included both quantitative
research methods. It's a descriptive piece.
Research Environment
The researchers decided to conduct
their study in the JH Cerilles state college
in Zamboanga del Sur.
Research Methodology

Sampling Design
 There was no sampling done because the total population will
be used as participants. It is a type of purposive sampling where
the whole population of interest (i.e., a group whose members
all share given characteristics) is studied. It is most practical
when the total population is of manageable sizes, such as a
well-defined subgroup of a larger population. For instance, total
population of 150 would be manageable to conduct a survey.
Research Methodology

 Research Respondents
The participants of this research were the 2nd year
college students of the state college taking Bachelor
of Secondary Education major in English during the
school year 2021-2022. The formulated intervention
is designed for them.
Research Methodology

 Research Instrument
A test questionnaire
Research Methodology
Data Gathering Techniques
 written permission from the dean of the School of Teacher
Education Department
 permission from the various School Advisors of each Course year.
 Obtaining all necessary data
Statistical Treatment
 This study uses descriptive and inferential statistics.
