study for our exam?

2. What is the impact of not studying weeks

before the exam?

3. Does studying weeks before the exam

cause us to not remember the lesson?
Objectives
Objectives:

- We, as researchers, aim to know how this

method really affects the scores of the
students.

- The goal is to provide information on how

students really study for their exam.

- and to provide information on what the

most commonly used studying methods are
among the students at SHS.
BACKGROUND
INFORMATION
BACKGROUND INFORMATION

The method of studying 3 weeks before the

exam is a really popular one nowadays on
social media platforms, with people saying
that this method works for students. That's
why we researchers are curious if it's true or
not.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION

Studying this topic can help us know if the

students of Sauyo High School used the method
of studying 3 weeks before the exam and how it
really affects their examination scores. We can
also know if almost all the students usually use a
method to study or not.
Introduction
Introduction:

Students usually struggle with what they're

going to do before the exam and what subject
they want to study first. Usually, students
review the subjects major to minor and
memorize the lesson contain from the subject,
that is one of the method that students
commonly used to review.
Introduction:

-Study methods refer to methods and

strategies that students usually do or use
before their quiz or exam.

- There are a lot of study methods; examples

are the Feyman Technique, flashcards,
testing themselves or asking themselves,
and scribbling while reading.
Introduction:

-Most of the students who usually have a

study method achieve excellent academic
performance compared to those who
don't.
Significance of
the Study
Significance of the Study:

The importance of this study is that it can give us

knowledge about whether having methods for
studying really affects our academic
performance. It tackles whether it's really
important to study the week before the exam or if
it's just important to memorise the lesson without
having any study methods.
Significance of the Study:

It will give us information that if this

method works on students in SHS, it will
help us know what we are going to do next
for our exam.

And lastly, for our future researchers to be

able to extract information about this topic.
Literature
Review
Literature Review:
Study conduct by William P. Young titled "A study to determine
correlation between extra study time after school to grades earned
by students" are accurate study for this topic.
It examines how the students attends a school before reporting to a
ship, but their skills simply are not up to the standards expected. It
shows on his Introduction what was the reason on this, he said that
"The reasons for this could be that the curriculum in place is not
exposing them to the correct material, or they did not truly master
the material and therefore did not remember it when performance
on the job was required." That's why it's really important to study
the material before performing it.
Literature Review:

He compare the Students on a Person training to be an Operations

Specialists (O.S.) in the Navy, he said that "He/she must identify and
follow any contact within several hundred miles of the ship. This
action not only protects his/her own ship, but also those ships in the
surrounding area. This helps to allow ships to be placed in very
hazardous areas to carry out the policies of the United States
Government." meaning that students must really do their search
and study before performing to master it, because it will not just
affect their performance but can also affect their grade and maybe
even their future.
