MEANING OF JOB ANALYSIS:-

• Job analysis is studying and collecting information relating to the operations and
responsibilities of a specific job.
• Job analysis defines the jobs within the organization and the behaviours necessary to
perform these jobs.
• Job analysis is a systematic exploration, study, and recording of a job’s responsibilities ,
duties, skills , and ability requirement.

• DEFINITION:-

“Job analysis gathers and analysis information about job content, human
requirements, and the context in which jobs are performed”.
