6. Main developments and events in the domestic
aeronautical industry in the last 3-5 years
6.1. Establishment of the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle
Cluster
Introduction of the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Cluster
Created:
June 2014
Founders:
• integrating partner’s capacities in the research and development areas of the main
scope of the cluster;
• unifying resources;
• systematizing and sharing knowledge in the field of UAV/UAS research and
development;
• sharing experiences and best practices;
• propagating results in the field of UAV and UAS research and development,
production, and maintenance;
• establishing synergies between cluster members;
• triggering new initiatives in the field of UAV and UAS research and development;
• establishing, enlarging and widening international co-operations in the knowledge-
triangle;
• cooperating with governmental organizations in legislation, certification and other
areas in order to speed up the development of the Hungarian UAS industry.
NEMERE XR-01 search and surveillance UAV
Main specifications:
This UAV is suitable for mainly conducting public service (disaster relief, police, border security
and customs administration) missions and tasks. It is able to identify, observe and track
persons and vehicles from an altitude of 200–300 meters
